Monoprice 1ft 14AWG Power Cord Cable w/ 3 Conductor PC Power Connector Socket (C13/5-15P) - Black

It appears that the seller of this item has no idea what 14AWG means. Although this cable appears to be 10 feet long, the wire is only 18AWG, which is smaller, for those who dont know. I wanted 14AWG because it has a higher power rating due to its larger conductors. This is not an upgrade in power, only in lengh. If I wanted 18 gauge wire, I would have purchased such. I hope this item will be relisted to 18AWG, but for this disappointed customer, its already too late.

I ordered the 25 foot long version. The power cord that arrived had a label saying 25ft but it was physically 2 feet long. See the accompanying pictures. Also I ordered the standard 3 prong plug, NEMA 5-15p, and thats what was on the label. BUT the actual cord had a NEMA 5-20p plug. Thats a plug that you might use for things like a power washer or portable welder. That plug wont fit a household15 ampere outlet. In short, the cable was useless for me. Amazon deleted my review the first time, as they are wont to do with < 5 star reviews. Lets see if this version survives whichever Amazonian censor peruses it.

Decent quality. No reason to complain...

Needed this cable in order to move my PC on the opposite end of my desk from the Uninterruptible Power Supply that is powering all my desks devices. The soft rubber made routing this cable very easy.

I needed a looong powercord for my projector when I decided to ceiling mount it and this does the ob perfectly. Its thick and seems very sturdy and is rated 15 Amps and my PJ is rated 10 A. Was concerned that it might be running hot (like some other cheaper wires out there on Amazon) and have not found it to be even warm. This is important for me as I am hiding it in wiremold raceways.

Cant say enough about these cables...High quality, worth the money, definietly would purchase again

My projector has a long power cable and I needed something short to get rid of the clutter. This cable did the trick and allowed me to connect my projector to the power source without having a massive cable having off the back.

Shipped fast and as expected. Using to go from ceiling mount projector to receptacle in ceiling so needed a short cable...

Misleading picture. This is a cable for a computer monitor or desktop PC etc. Never buying from them again.
