> 3 day14 gauge power cord has works fine for my sub woofer and is what was recommended by the manufacturer. Any higher gauge risks over-heating the cord.

> 3 dayFrom tip to tip the entire cord is 13. The actual length of cord between plugs is 8. Other than that its fine. still works for my application. Just not how I expected.

> 3 dayThese are great cords. If you own a pair of powered PA speakers these will work great if your speakers are placed less than 40 feet apart or so. They are very heavy duty and well made. Go for it!

> 3 dayI managed to score a card, but it was a dinky little 6700xt so I really wasnt pushing my 850w PSU. Due to placement of my PC, I needed a longer cord and ended up temporarily using what I believe was a monitor cable. This was mostly fine as my entire system pulled maybe 300w under load. Then I scored a much more power hungry GPU, and cord seemed much more fire hazard than robust power delivery device. This thing is as thick as youd think being 14awg, and plenty long. I now feel perfectly safe running useless benchmarks back to back to spit out numbers that stroke my tech ego. Seriously though, you cant beat it for the price if your stock cord isnt long enough. Im not sure what the limit would be, but should be fine for 99% of systems.
