Heavy duty cable, though I though the outside sleeve would be a bit thicker for added protection.

Product is as described and Im sure it would be great to use. Despite all the hype of using the 12 AWG wiring, make sure your equipment can accept this wiring. I have two systems and both wont accept 12 AWG directly. Both the spring clips and 5 way binding posts are not of sufficient size to accept the 12 AWG without some kind of banana/pin screw plugs. So make sure either your system can handle 12 AWG wiring or you order some of those plugs along with the wires. From this first purchase of Monoprice wiring, Im happy with the quality for the price paid and would not only recommend them but will buy their product again.

Horribly hard to get the banana clips twisted onto the ends of the cables!

Good in wall speaker wire at a good price. A word of caution, make sure the posts on your speaker can accommodate this thick of a speaker wire. Many small speakers (like rear surrounds) or the Energy Take 5 wont fit through the holes in the post.

I purchased Monoprice Nimbus cable with the black jacket in the past. It was very stiff. THIS cable however is VERY flexible & nice to work with. Highly recommend.
