Moody Tools 51-1850 Spring Tool Hook & Lifter, 8.125 Length

I use this for carburetor springs on small engines. Its awesome.

this works great and the magnetic installer side works better than the other ones I have used. I fix printers and other equipment.

Overall a great product. Newer models/versions seem to be more sturdy than older ones. Must have tool for printer repairs or any other situation where manipulating springs and shafts would be required.

The day i received this Hook, i had two Springs in a Fusing Unit that need to me removed to get at another part, and I could not had done it without this Spring Hook.

I purchased this after reading a recommendation online somewhere...maybe on Boing Boing? As promised, its a great crafting tool, especially for folks like me who make tiny collages and other mini things. You will find endless ways to use it!

This is a long stainless steel hook thats super well made. I dont totally know what the original purpose of this hook is but ive found it to be quite useful around the house, pulling a draw string through a pair of pants, getting something out of a small space, etc.

These are easy to leave behind sometimes so I bought three and made one into a speacialty tool. Best price I have found so far.

This is a well functioning spring hook ... but if you need to bend it - forget it ... it is very brittle and will break (as mine did). And since it is so brittle it is not possible to bend it back to a functional shape. So now I have a straight piece of metal that is not good for anything. Its my fault for trying to bend it.
