I can use it for gaming and working. I have it connected to a 55 TV via HDMI and the frame rates are up there with the latest PS5 and Xbox gaming systems.

The docking station looks great, I love its metallic feeling. Its pretty sturdy and reliable. Can not wait using it with my laptop, I am sure its worth the price.

Looks to be machined aluminum body. Doesnt block the vent intake at the back. USBs and HDMI were all pretty much plug and play. The only con i can think of is the Laser etched STEAM DECK docking station (5 in 1) which is engraved into the metal. Protip: if you connect to the TV and the scaling is off, just enter desktop mode and then return to big screen mode and itll fix itself.

I purchased this mainly for my older nephew, but ended up keeping it for myself. I am very impressed in the quality of this. The ports are all clearly labelled and work well. I am considering purchasing another one for him to keep this time haha. Its stable and easy to use, plug it in and youre done. I Feel like it is so multi-functional. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a cheaper (but great qualify) alternative to the original dock.

If you are trying to dock the steam deck like switch. You will gonna need this. You have to connect the c-type on the top of the steam deck. Wish steam build the port in the bottom.
