Greater than one weekHubby tried this when it arrived and was like wow this grinds fast and no pressure needed. These are amazingly tough. You can go over slightly protruding nail heads and the pad is not harmed. With these, it feels like deep rust and thick old paint melts away. They do wear quickly but thats to be expected.

> 3 dayPurchased to do some paint stripping on the inner fenders of my VW project. They easily attach to my 4 angle grinder, and make quick work of stripping down the old finish. The price is good, and you get 10 of the disks. Overall their life span seems pretty good. I used 2-3 of them for my project, and have the rest on the shelf for the next project that comes along. Would buy again.

Greater than one weekThe abrasive pads are not concentric with the backing disk. When used, the grinding assembly is out of balance and vibrates. Sloppy assembly.

> 3 dayThese grinder discs are a must have to remove paint before welding. They remove rust and paint with ease. They work on any standard grinder.

> 3 dayThis is a pack of 10 generic purple stripping discs packaged as 2 boxes of 5 discs. Theyre mainly used for stripping paint and rust without damaging the underlying surface too much. Neither the discs nor the packaging have any markings whatsoever. I measured the discs at 4-1/2 diameter, 7/8 arbor, 1/2 abrasive thickness and 3/4 overall thickness. The product listing has different specs in different parts of the listing which is confusing to say the least. Most concerning is the max RPM which is listed as 12500 in one part of the listing but only 11500 lower down. My angle grinder only does 11000 RPM so these will work fine. When fitted to my grinder the discs almost touch the inside edge of the guard. They also are thicker than the guard and extend out past it about 1/8. That allows them to be used across their entire surface but makes me worry what might happen if one comes apart in use. I tried them out on some painted scrap wood panels and old rusty metal frames. They made short work of the painted wood exposing smooth bare wood in literally seconds. The rusted metal cleaned up just as quickly, and unlike sanding discs didnt leave flat spots. These are now my go-to discs for cleanup work. The price on Amazon is currently $40 for 10 which is about the average cost per disc for this type of product. Assuming they all perform similarly to the one I tested this will be a good value overall.

Greater than one weekEasy paint removal on steel and wood, takes off power coating on metal quickly and easily. Perfect for cleaning oxidation from metal prior to welding and can be used to remove splatter after welding. Non-clogging so work stoppages are minimal. Grit is not marked but purple is typically used for paint, rust, and corrosion removal.

Greater than one weekSuper effective at removing paint! Went through a couple already and lasted a few days of constant use. No large chunks being flung off or anything either. Worth the price.

> 3 dayIf youre looking to clean a surface of old paint and rust before you weld or paint it, these are fantastic. Theyll make short work of it and fit my little off brand grinder with no problem. These are a good value- but use as light a touch as you can in order to get the most out of them. 5 stars, will buy again.

> 3 dayThey came packaged in 2 sets of 5 pads. They look like a hard sponge like material. I attached it to my angle grinder and tried it on some wood that had paint on it. The pad took the paint off with ease. It will leave little swirl marks in the wood, so Sanding after is a must. It did a great job and I see 1 pad lasting for a while. I think it will also take stain off wood, but may take a little bit longer due to stain penetrating the wood and the pad may have to work a little harder. The picture I attached did that little section in about 20 seconds.
