This mount is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. The mount is excellent quality. I read many reviews before I bought this one. The product is as good as any product I have purchased in many years. The metal has tight tolerances and fit together with no slop. The capture nuts are a step above what others use and make assembly a breeze. The engineer who designed it made it very easy to assemble with instructions that take into consideration every conceivable configuration. The parts are all numbered and sealed in plastic strips, the instructions show pictures of the steps, along with the number of the part they are describing. Each step is clearly defined. To start they have you take the two screws holding the two pieces of the assembled bracket apart. Then you stick the small plastic level they include onto the template and tape the template to the wall, making sure you use the correct template markings for your particular wall stud spacing, I.E. 16, 18 inches between studs, drill pilot holes into the studs. take the template down and put the wall half of the mount on the wall, mount that half of the bracket, attach the TV half of the bracket to the back of the TV , using whatever configuration fits your TV mounting holes, my case I had to use the square frame version, because the 4 holes on the back of my TV(Samsung) were spaced quite a distance apart. After I attached the now assembled frame to the TV I waited for help to hang the TV onto the wall mounted bracket, If I was merely still in my 60s I would have done it by myself as the bracket has a lip that holds the TV bracket to the wall bracket giving you support while you put the two previously removed screws back into the bracket, securing the two halves of the bracket together but my wife insisted I wait for help lifting the 65 inch TV onto the bracket. That was the only help I used in this installation. I am very impressed with this bracket and I will definitely use additional ones to mount other TVs in other rooms. I feel very strongly this company makes very high quality products designed with the consumer in mind and they get my vote for product of the year. The picture shown as a sample is the configuration I used for my particular TV, other TVs may use the bracket without the square frame required for my Samsung TV, the bracket has mounting holes and bolts to mount the smaller bracket directly to the TV. The also include a lot of spacers, screws and standoffs in case your TV has shorter or longer mounting holes. They took great care to make it as easy as possible to use. The movement is firm and yet easy to move when access to the back of the TV is needed.

This is just what I was looking for to hang a 58” TV on the wall. The product was packaged well, the delivery was made overnight, the instructions were on point and the installation went very smooth. I would highly recommend this product.

Where did the 5th star go???? Wall bracket, needs to be wider. Many wall mounts these days are installed over fireplaces. Sometimes the studs are not placed 16 on center secondary to the fireplace chimney or flue, or for whatever other reason, and have to be spaced slightly wider than 16 on center. My fault for not recognizing the spacing of my studs for the intended location, but the manufactures fault for not anticipating variances in stud spacing. I could have just sent it back, but I decided that $50 for a mounting bracket was too good of a deal to pass up and was time for me to think outside the box. Well I wasnt going to give up on the location for where the TV was going to be mounted, so I had to fabricate a wall mount extension piece. I went to Home Depot, got a 36 metal bar, sawed that sucker in half, drilled several holes, mounted it to the back of the wall mount bracket with carriage bolts/ nuts/ flat & lock washers, and mounted the sucker. Because I was being cheap, and only wanted to buy one piece of steel bar as opposed to two, I had to offset the 18 bars to just one side. In doing such it left a portion of the mounts wall side bracket without a bar piece, or otherwise a void where the bar should also extend. To fill that void, I used two flat washers that (when placed together) were the same thickness as the extension bar. (I hope this is clear, and not too confusing). All I am saying, is that will a little extra time, patience, effort, and a trip to the Home Depot (or wherever sells flat steel bars), someone could fab an extension (highly not recommended secondary to safety and work involved). If you are one of those with limited experience with this, I wouldnt suggest this for safety reasons, and would just look for an accommodating wall mount for your specific application. Additionally, another ding I would hit this mount on for not having is the lack of including or having a thread locker on the multiple screws included. Remember this is a movable mount, and if its is the owners intention to move the TV around quite a bit, you might want to consider applying a liquid thread locker to the metal on metal threads before torquing the screws down (again, for safety sake). All in all not that bad. I would not recommend this mount for anyone who either does not know their stud spacing for the intended location, and/ or for for known stud spacing greater than 16 on center. If I knew that I would have to fab something like I did before I bought the bracket, there would be no way I would have bought this bracket. Do yourself a favor (measure first, dont be a dumbo like me, and be persuaded by the inexpensive nature of the item) << However, very well made from what I can tell. Wally World sell similar brackets for $149!!!! Not sure on the wall side bracket accommodations, but I would have bought that quickly if I knew that it would fit and the Mounting Dream would not. Good luck

I’ve mounted 4 TVs with Mounting Dream products and they’re the best mounts I’ve ever used. Installation is extremely straightforward with the provided directions and almost every combination of part you need is there. (If you’re mounting to concrete, go ahead a get the concrete anchors prior to install) Great product and I tell everyone about it when they see how nicely my tv moves around on the wall!

Seems exceptionally sturdy and was easy enough to install with a 12in level and a drill with a nut driver. Swings away from the wall to give plenty of space for plugging in cables and doesnt show the slightest sign of sagging with a 60in TVs weight. The length of the mounting rails made it possible to secure it to 2 studs for an optimal and worry-free installation.

Since 1993, Mounting Dream tries to offer the premium mounts and service. Every mount is designed to make your device safe, flexible for better viewing experience.
