This mount is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. The mount is excellent quality. I read many reviews before I bought this one. The product is as good as any product I have purchased in many years. The metal has tight tolerances and fit together with no slop. The capture nuts are a step above what others use and make assembly a breeze. The engineer who designed it made it very easy to assemble with instructions that take into consideration every conceivable configuration. The parts are all numbered and sealed in plastic strips, the instructions show pictures of the steps, along with the number of the part they are describing. Each step is clearly defined. To start they have you take the two screws holding the two pieces of the assembled bracket apart. Then you stick the small plastic level they include onto the template and tape the template to the wall, making sure you use the correct template markings for your particular wall stud spacing, I.E. 16, 18 inches between studs, drill pilot holes into the studs. take the template down and put the wall half of the mount on the wall, mount that half of the bracket, attach the TV half of the bracket to the back of the TV , using whatever configuration fits your TV mounting holes, my case I had to use the square frame version, because the 4 holes on the back of my TV(Samsung) were spaced quite a distance apart. After I attached the now assembled frame to the TV I waited for help to hang the TV onto the wall mounted bracket, If I was merely still in my 60s I would have done it by myself as the bracket has a lip that holds the TV bracket to the wall bracket giving you support while you put the two previously removed screws back into the bracket, securing the two halves of the bracket together but my wife insisted I wait for help lifting the 65 inch TV onto the bracket. That was the only help I used in this installation. I am very impressed with this bracket and I will definitely use additional ones to mount other TVs in other rooms. I feel very strongly this company makes very high quality products designed with the consumer in mind and they get my vote for product of the year. The picture shown as a sample is the configuration I used for my particular TV, other TVs may use the bracket without the square frame required for my Samsung TV, the bracket has mounting holes and bolts to mount the smaller bracket directly to the TV. The also include a lot of spacers, screws and standoffs in case your TV has shorter or longer mounting holes. They took great care to make it as easy as possible to use. The movement is firm and yet easy to move when access to the back of the TV is needed.

I normally do not write reviews. But with product I definitely wanted to share my experience. So as far as mourning it is pretty straight forward and comes with everything you need. I would definitely suggest investing in a stud finder(even just the cheap one with a magnet that detects nails works fine). Here is where I messed up and a 100% on me. I centered the mount both vertically and horizontally on the wall. But where I messed up is I did not take into consideration the brackets where not centered on the back or my tv. This cause my tv to hang a little higher than what I would have liked(just a few inches higher than eye level). After giving it a couple of weeks it was still bothering me slightly. Here is where the product absolutely turned into a 5 star review for me. I googled the customer service number, and on the first try I actually got a real person. I described my problem, and the lady said don’t worry bout it, it actually happens quite a bit. She offered to send me some different brackets(I believe I these brackets actually come with the bigger tv mount) but since these brackets are a lil longer it allowed the tv to actually drop maybe 2-3 inches. Which is exactly what I needed and now my tv sits eye level, and I did not have to remount the wall mount, thus I did not have the re hang the mount and did not have patch any holes in the wall. The customer service rep actually send the tv brackets for me for free!! They didn’t even charge me shipping or an extra fee. The mistake was totally on me and they helped me out. So in closing a couple of things to take into consideration 1. Ensure you get a stud finder and mount it on the studs with the provided lag bolts (I used two additional heavy duty dry wall anchors in the middle just for additional support) 2. Measure twice drill once. Ensure you take into consideration how the brackets fit on the back of the tv( ie If they are centered or not. 3. What I did to help visualize the tv on the wall is to cut out a piece of cardboard the size of your tv and tape it on the wall and that will help give your your mounting height. 4. For the most part you can do this with one person, but definitely suggest two people when you lift the tv to the brackets 5. Definitely use the spacers and saftey mounting lock to keep the tv secure

Let me just start by saying the quality is awesome! Right out of the box, the paint on every surface of every component was flawless. The metal was rounded off and no jagged edges. The installation instructions were very easy and I had my Samsung 60 tv mounted in no time. There is an included template with a stick on bubble level and I used painters tape to attach it to the wall, after using my stud finder to mark center on 2 of the studs in my wall. After I had the template taped up and perfectly level, I drilled the pilot holes then the larger holes into the studs. The template was dead on to drill into the studs. Next up is putting the mount on the wall. The lag bolts included are ridiculously overkill and I have full confidence in this mount. I pulled on the mount with a good bit of weight. The lag bolts are probably 3 long and 1/2 in diameter. I ran them down with an impact driver and it was struggling. I had to torque them with a 1/2 ratchet. I said to my self, wow.... thats not going anywhere!!! Once the mount was on the wall, I began assembling the mounts to the back of the tv. They come with multiple washer, spacers, bolts, etc to adapt to your TV. In my case, my tv has a slight curve on the back housing and I needed the longest bolts and the thickest spacers. Once I had the mounts on the back of the TV all I had to do was lift this huge awkward tv, but no matter, the mounts are super easy to use. The top of the mounts on the TV attaches to the bars on the wall mount simply hangs there. With my oddly spaced wall/studs, I had to slide the tv on the mount all the way to the right to center above my entertainment center. Once the I had it situated, all I had to do was flip the locking tabs up on the bottom of the mounts and insert the screws to lock it onto the mount. Ive had the TV mounted for days and it shows absolutely no signs of coming off the wall by itself! Id almost bet I could sit on this mount and it wouldnt budge. Dont spend big money on a mount, go for this one! Put the money you save towards a sound bar, led backlights for your tv, a new entertainment center, or anything else. I also recommend purchasing an in-wall wiring solution. The only wire I wasnt able to hide is the optical cable for my sound bar because it was too short to run from my entertainment center to my TV. However, it will suffice once I mount my soundbar to my tv.

Definitely a sturdy mount! Far better then most currently available. I had to build a custom fiberglass mount only because the area in which I mounted the tv had studs oddly 18 apart on center

sturdy and love the range of motion. Easy to install for handy people. Directions are lacking some specificity on assembling some parts but Im handy so it worked great for me.

This is just what I was looking for to hang a 58” TV on the wall. The product was packaged well, the delivery was made overnight, the instructions were on point and the installation went very smooth. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this wall mount adapter and I am very happy I did. The wall mount feels very sturdy and the parts seem well made. It was very easy to install as the instructions were very clear. And there were many spare parts! As my TV does not have the standard VESA mount widths, the as-supplied extension bars did not fit. I wrote in to Mounting Dreams customer support and I received a phone call several hours later. After speaking with the customer support representative I was informed that longer extension bars were being shipped directly to me free of charge. The bars arrived several days later and I was able to mount the TV without further issue.

Easy to install

The finish of all parts was excellent, there were multiple options for screws to mount the TV and stand-offs for between the mount and the wall, and movement of the TV when mounted is smooth. Very nice. This unit is very strong, with dual arms top and bottom in a parallelogram arrangement that allows for a wide range of angular motion of your TV. Tilt is possible, and I was glad to have the rotation adjustability to level the TV side of the mount. I needed to mount this to a stone fireplace fascia, and the stone had a lot of variation of surface projection, so I had to (1) use masonry anchor bolts, not provided; and (2) use several of the plastic stand-offs provided with the mount. I hammer-drilled into the mortar lines between the stone, so I didnt mar any of the stone, and bought and installed some 5/16 dia x 2.5 long 18-8 stainless anchor bolts (yes, available on Amazon.) Because the mortar lines were a little narrower than the provided stand-offs, I sanded the sides of the latter to just fit between the stones on each side of the mortar line at the holes. This arrangement allowed the backplate of the mount to stand off the proudest of the stone behind it by about 1/16 while providing a very strong attachment to the chimney. It easily held my 220# weight (though I did NOT try that at full extension of the mount!!!) The rest of the assembly is simple, once you correlate the instructions part numbers to those printed on the clever parts packets and larger parts. If youre mounting to a stud wall, you MUST find the centers of two adjacent studs (typically on 16 centers) to screw your 5/16 diameter lag bolts into. I would recommend lag bolts at least 2.5 long (3 preferable, IMO), with pre-drilled, full depth holes maybe 1/8 diameter. A ratchet set makes driving the lag bolts easy, but it can be done with a small (~6) adjustable crescent wrench. You really, really dont want to drill or screw into any house wiring. I cant help you figure out where those run in your walls-- but you could drill a pilot hole (between the studs, through the drywall only) and probe to see if any house wiring runs through the stud bay at the hole heights you are considering. And, beware, you must NOT just use drywall to support this mount and your TV-- the drywall will NOT hold the load. You MUST use lag bolts driven into the meat of two adjacent studs to make this mount work for you. If your TV is larger than 55 diag, you are really going to want two people to lift it into place. Even 55 may be iffy, depending on your strength and the height of your mount.

Seems exceptionally sturdy and was easy enough to install with a 12in level and a drill with a nut driver. Swings away from the wall to give plenty of space for plugging in cables and doesnt show the slightest sign of sagging with a 60in TVs weight. The length of the mounting rails made it possible to secure it to 2 studs for an optimal and worry-free installation.
