> 3 dayI was about to settle for a lame 29 incher 75hz LG monitor since im not interested in huge monitors or a resolution higher than 1080p (i sit far enough from the screen). Suddenly this monitor showed up in my recommendation page and couldnt believe my eyes! UWFHD @200hz?????? you gotta be kidding... AND IT WAS ON SALEEEE????? Didnt think twice it was purchased immediately, arrived in pristine condition in a huge box, it did come with a power brick as opposed as some other reviewers and its just beautiful to look at. ***BE AWARE*** 200hz through DP and 180hz through HDMI. The monitor offers HDR support with 10-bit depth @165hz max if you NEED the 200hz you will be limited to 8-bit depth, but lets be honest, youre not gonna use this monitor for colorimetry ALTHOUGH YOU COULD. it covers 104% sRGB so colors are splendid. Productivity went up 100% and gaming immersion went up 200% Splendid monitor, dont think twice

> 3 dayAwesome gaming display, first time using a wide screen and I really like it. MSI makes a quality product at a great price. High quality and functionality, 2 of my 3 monitors are now MSI and I will certainly replace my 3rd in the future with another MSI.

> 3 dayReceived the monitor for my sons school computer and it didnt include a power adapter... I now see that I am not the only one with this issue. Now I have the pleasure of calling MSI to try to get a power cord that will likely take weeks. A waste of time and money. Buy something else from another seller... not worth the hassle and I cant even fathom how the power cord would be removed or overlooked. Shoddy.

> 3 dayFor almost 12 years I was using a more square 28 monitor but it began having problems, I looked around and noticed this monitor, it had good reviews and Amazon had the best price. I didnt realize how much more wide the screen was until I unboxed it, I was unsure how much I would like the width, I do some light video and photo work but I dont game, I do watch a few movies and youtube. After using the first few times Ive come to favor this monitor over the last one, much more. I have two desktop computers, the other desktop computer uses the exact style monitor that I was using before it went bad on this desktop now using the MSI, I prefer this MSI. This MSI is a flat screen, it has good colors and works perfectly! The MSI monitor comes with several types of connectors, I am using the MDMI 1, it has no VGA which I was using on the previous monitor.

Greater than one weekI like the design and clean look of this monitor. It is affordable with that specs. Only wish it comes with speakers.

> 3 dayI use this for my Xbox series X, great size and has multiple adjustable levels for tilt and height. The base is pretty big in my opinion as Id prefer it had a sleeker stand. Says HDR ready but it doesnt register on the series X as HDR compatible. The monitor doesnt have a HDR on option either but when you see the display info for frame rate it shows HDR off. Maybe Im missing something but overall good monitor for the price.

> 3 dayI’ve been using the Lenovo Y25-25 for a year or so. It’s a superior panel in terms of refresh rate, but lower resolution. My initial impressions of this panel is that it’s nearly identical in image quality aside from the obvious pixel density making text appear more clear. Gaming on it has been pleasant so far. There’s a curved Acer monitor with similar specs (30” ultrawide, 2060x1080, 1ms response, 200hz) that is curved, and is $60 cheaper than this. You have a VA instead of IPS on that, so I’ll see tomorrow how they compare. Only other criticism, and I imagine it’s so the depth of the monitor itself is reduced, is an external power supply, which I’m not a big fan of. I preferred the built in PSU, with the desktop PSU cable on my Lenovo rather than the laptop style external PSU. Will update this review in the coming days as I test that competitor from Acer (XZ6) and ASUS ROG STRIX XG309CM. UPDATE: so my summary between the three monitors is that this unit is the best value of the 3! For $269, you’re going to be hard pressed to find an ultrawide with similar response time and refresh rate. Most will be lower refresh rate, and the one that is (ROG STRIX) is over $100 more for just 20hz additional. The ROG has superior refresh rate, and arguably more features, but none that make up for the cost difference. The Acer has identical specs to this but far too much ghosting and streaking due to its VA panel for me to recommend it to any FPS gamer, and it’s VESA mounting takes 3-5 inches of depth from your desk. But at $220 (it’s sale price), it’s a strong value for productivity or people that won’t need the high refresh rate / low response time when gaming. Summary: The 1080p ultrawide market is lacking as more and more panels move to 1440p. It seems people are valuing resolution far more than frames since 2021, despite the graphics cards that can take full advantage of them still being cost prohibitive. For those of us that are using older cards or want to emphasize frames per second over all other factors, 1080p still makes a lot of sense. So if you need a 1080p panel for gaming and productivity, I can’t think of one I’d recommend that packs as much value per dollar over this one. SYSTEM SPECS: (for context to my gaming-related comments): Ryzen 5 5600X NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition 32GB Kingston Fury Renegade 3600 DDR4 RAM (4x8 configuration) Msi B550 Pro-Vdh motherboard Game used for testing: Halo Infinite w/ Custom Video settings (FOV 98°, mostly Low settings with Terrain, Flocking, and two other CPU bound settings set to Ultra).
