> 3 dayFirst off, I am really happy to see a mainstream companys keyboard using Kailh switches, they are excellent switches and I prefer them over Cherry switches or membrane any day. That said, there are a few things I dislike about this keyboard and ultimately made me return it after a few hours. First, although the chassis is a nice brushed aluminum on top, the rest is cheap thin plastic. Every key press in the middle of the board causes a hollow metallic ping to echo throughout the chassis. It is not super loud but it is also not a pleasant sound to me and got on my nerves really quick. Second, is the design of the key caps. They are much too flat and make it really difficult to find a key quickly without looking at the board. Being able to easily find the Backspace, Enter, F, and J keys by feel without looking is a must for me and for some reason it just want happening for me on this board. It is probably due to the semi-glossy feel of the keys and lack of distinct shape. The keyboard does have nice aesthetics, i really like the color of the Lock leds, they are red when the backlight is off and change to a split blue/light purple effect with it on. If you are looking for a budget low-profike mechanical keyboard, this one fits the bill nicely. If you are looking for something a little sturdier with some heft to it and you can afford a higher price tag, Id go with a regular mechanical keyboard, preferably one with hot-swappable switches so you can find the most comfortable style for you.

Greater than one weekThis is my first 100% mechanical KB. I also have the GK30, which is a semi-mechanical KB (membrane but with an imitation of a switch). I love the feel this GK50 gives; it is soft, smooth, exactly what i was looking for. I dont find its sound disturbing, if anything i find it really quiet (i though it was gonna be louder, so a pleasant surprise); in fact, the GK30 is louder (the keys hitting the plastic KB frame is louder). The keycaps are great, really soft to the touch. The backlight is also great, not dimm but not overly bright either. I had no issues with the Dragon Center App (already had it installed since i have several MSI items). I havent tried macros or per-key lightning, but i guess that would also work correctly... I was looking for low profile keyboard that gave me the feeling i had with my old Toshiba X205 laptop (i hate those chiclets keys that come in new laptops) and this just nailed. 100% satisfied and totally recommended.

Greater than one weekThis was my first mechanical keyboard and Im pretty impressed. The software is terrible and I ended up uninstalling it but the lighting is fully functional without it. I ended up adding some foam inside the case and o rings to the switch stems and I am very happy with the way it turned out. If I could change anything about it I think it would be even better with usb pass-thru and hot swap switches. Maybe cable routing channels as well but for less than $100 I dont think it can be beat.

> 3 dayNumpad 8 acts like its being held down when you push it, a little irritating for how much it costs, but otherwise works great as a gaming keyboard.

> 3 dayMe parece un producto excelente a nivel de calidad precio, comparado con la competencia, su tacto es suave y las teclas tienen un sonido perfecto, el brillo es lo suficientemente fuerte para que se vea y la gama de colores también es bastante grande, es un producto que por su precio suena hasta algo extraño, pero realmente es seguro a nivel de compra, su calidad te deja impresionado por el costo de este, y aparte su rgb se siente muy bien a la vista, un teclado que se siente premium y se ve premium, con una calidad de diez

Greater than one weekGot to try this Keyboard out at the MSI rebrand store in Akihabara. Works great, even better when you can read the keys.

> 3 dayVery responsive keyboard with semi-loud clicks to let you know the keys are working. The brushed aluminum is a nice touch that stands out from boring black/white keyboards. The light affects are probably the best part! If only the MSI software worked better though. Definitely recommend for gaming.

> 3 dayFast and accurate. One year later and still my favorite keyboard! Personal taste/other keyboards comparison. I love low profile keyboards style laptops. The keys being too low, they are no mechanical keyboards for such low profile keys, so mid-height mechanical keyboards are a go-to for me. I tried the Razer Ornata Expert Mecha-Membrane, which is a pretty good keyboard, but looking at it now, the keys do feel harder to press and less natural compared to this MSI keyboard. I also tried the Corsair K70 MK.2, but as much as I reaaaally tried to love it since it was a gift, I had to return it after several weeks of trying. The K70 had no accuracy, the sensitivity of the keyboard was so high that it would type characters that I didnt mean/really pressed and would trigger num pad keys several times instead of one, or simply just ignore a key press. Pros: Fast, while staying accurate. Solid and nice quality. Good looking metal finish being the keys. Cons: Noisy (mechanical keyboard noise, wished they had a silent version). No direct control volume (need to press a combo of keys to change the volume) Minor cons for a fantastic keyboard. It felt right like home the first time I tried it and it still does today!
