these spoons do the job i suppose but i had purchased the silicone tipped ones for my first kid and think ill go back to them. The plastic on the edges of these is just a little to sharp for my 5 month old. she doesnt seem to enjoy them. At first i just thought she wasnt ready for solids so i tried one of the older spoons i had with the silicone coating on it and she loved them and has no trouble eating. i do like that these are white hot safety spoons but just overall not very pleased with them.

These work as advertised. I do think they may be a little over-sensitive on the white hot, as sometimes the food is just warm but turns the spoon white. However, Id rather them be over-sensitive than under. And we still always test baby girls food to be safe. They are also a good size and shape for letting her start to hold on her own, so they will have a longer life than some of our other spoons.

Bought this as a baby shower gift, so I dont know how she liked it, as she hasnt sent out thank you cards yet, but my daughter uses this for our grandbaby and she is very pleased with them. Glad they come in a multi pack as baby girl likes to hold her own and sometimes toss on the floor for grandparents to retrieve!

This comes with great help to determine if baby food is at the right temperature. Similar to the temperature of the bath where babies need lower temperature that what we would do for us adults, they also eat food at lower temperature. I used to always taste the warm food before giving it to my kid, but even with doing that he would still sometimes be disgusted by the temperature. Now with these spoons I always know if the food is too hot, even if it felt fine for my palate

My grandmother has advanced dementia and feeding her became so difficult with regular spoons that we worried she wasnt getting enough nutrition. She would react like babies sometimes do and block the spoon with her tongue when eating. I decided to give these a try and Im sure glad now because it is so much easier to get food into her mouth. Feeding time was drastically reduced and she seems to enjoy eating somewhat better. The best part is the color changing with hot food makes it so easy to know when the food is the right temperature for her to eat safely.
