My daughter learned to eat with these spoons first. She learned that when it turned white that the food was too hot and so she had to wait or blow on her food to cool it. I was concerned because wed put the spoons in the top rack of the dish washer. They came out clean but had turned white because the water had been so hot inside. After several more uses and a few more times through the top rack of the dishwasher, the spoons turned white and never returned to their original color. I got a lot of use out of em before this happened and Im sure you do need to replace them fairly frequently but I had hoped they would return to their regular color at least a dozen times more. These spoons are extremely durable. My lil girl has learned great control with them and they are easy for her tiny hands to hold.

These spoon are great and my go-to. They are the perfect size for infants just starting solids, and I love the thermal indicator when baby food is too hot! Its a great tool. It turns white when the food is too hot, warning you not to serve baby. Great design, lightweight, and the size of the tip of the spoon fits perfectly in tiny mouths. It has withstood many washes in the steamer. Price is great for four and youll get a lot of use out of them.

I like these spoons. They’re the only ones I use for my child really lol. I’ve had mine for about 6 months now and still no staining!

They work how they are supposed to and are easy to hold for both mom and baby

Not sure what the gripes are regarding quality control. That was not our case. These spoons are perfect in every way. Love the fact it turns white hot to detect scolding temperature. You will feel safe using these spoons. We can’t say enough.

We have purchased several sets of these for our baby (and toddler). I am very pleased with them for babys use. The spoons edge is perfectly rounded and smooth, great for cleaning up food around babys mouth. Easy for baby to grasp and feed self. Love the temperature sensitivity color change. We do put them in the dishwasher and they come out just fine and continue to be sensitive to temperature. We understand the spoons are marketed for infant use, but do beware of chewing. Our toddler has very easily gnawed off small chunks of plastic, not to mention leaving a very rough edge to the spoon. This was never an issue when she was a teething infant, but as a toddler she has chewed off chunks in the blink of an eye.

these spoons do the job i suppose but i had purchased the silicone tipped ones for my first kid and think ill go back to them. The plastic on the edges of these is just a little to sharp for my 5 month old. she doesnt seem to enjoy them. At first i just thought she wasnt ready for solids so i tried one of the older spoons i had with the silicone coating on it and she loved them and has no trouble eating. i do like that these are white hot safety spoons but just overall not very pleased with them.

Obviously there was no parent input when designing these spoons, as the very first time I used them to feed my baby, I was completely disappointed. Due to the length and weight of these spoons, you have to be holding it in your hand AT ALL TIMES because they are constantly falling out of the bowl. When feeding, Ill need to wipe her chin, or clean her hand, ect, to prevent her from wearing her lunch (as much as possible), and as soon as I let go of the spoon it topples over because the handle is so much heaver than the rest of it. Sometimes it lands on the table, other times the floor, but regardless, every time this happens, AND IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME... I have to wash it, clean up baby or a food spill (or both) and start over. As a parent, this small and fairly insignificant design flaw is extremely frustrating. Im constantly up and down cleaning up this and that, when Im just trying to get her to eat a few bites...Not worth the trouble. Also, the white hot safety feature would be nice, if it didnt only work when its very very hot, too hot for even myself to eat. I dont know about you, but we dont eat liquid hot magma in our home so its a pointless feature. But I really didnt care about that. If the spoons were weighted properly, I would have given 5 stars because a spoon is a spoon, but for feeding a baby, this spoon is a disaster. Youve been warned. Buy something else, save yourself the headache and the extra clean up! Very disappointed!

I needed some spoons for daycare for my baby. I was tired of losing my 5 dollar spoons so these were about 1.25 a piece and if they are lost that’s fine. The mouth part is slightly thin and hard and can have bite marks left over that makes the material not as soft. I prefer the beaba ones that are softer and full of silicone but these are fine for daycare use.
