MVP Disc Sports Black Hole Pro HD 24-Chain Portable Disc Golf Basket Target

This is a great, heavy duty basket! The 30 heavy duty course weighted chains is an awesome feature to this basket. Its so easy to assemble and disassemble. I can literally assemble it in less than 2 minutes! I am an engineer by trade and I am very impressed with how well constructed this basket is. This is by far the best practice/portable basket Ive used. I highly recommend this basket.

Good basket. One flaw: the way they weld a bolt/nut to each side of the matching tube steel sections, they leave like 1/2 of unsupported space, which means the only thing the top piece is resting on is the outside perimeter of the tube steel. Over time, rocking back and forth, that steel will start to rub and then buckle over/under itself. I solve this by putting a bunch of 12 washers on either side of the connection point to give both sides a level surface to sit on. This additional support is better, but without the washers being welded in it still wants to work itself loose. This is a design flaw that I reported to MVP. Well see how long it takes them to fix it. As of this writing, Ive had the product for about two years, and havent seen any product improvements announced from them.

The goal was used for putting practice in my backyard. We have found it to be very sturdy and well made.

Sturdy and more portable than expected. A must for mobile disc golfers.

This is truly a fantastic basket. My friend had one so I got one myself. Its easy to install and it was packed well it was in three boxes so it wasnt damaged. I suggest wrapping the center pole in some type of tape to minimise the noise from the chains. For the price its one of the best baskets, and with the right care can last a long time.

Great goal for disc golf enthusiast. We liked its durability and construction.

This was a gift for my son. It was very quick to assemble, very sturdy and has been moved to different areas in his yard easily. Very happy with this purchase and the fun times it has brought to the family. ❤

Serious factory packaging disparity with this catcher. Nearly every piece arrived both bent and paint chipped (arrived UPS on time). Looked used and beat up. The logos were scraped up as well. When putting it together, parts nearly didnt align up due to being to terribly bent and disfigured. It looked so terrible and ugly to have set up as the top, basket, post and base werent straight. It is no longer assembled to save the embarrassment to await seller feedback. There was nothing but plastic bags and the cardboard box, (as you can see was beat up badly and nearly loosing parts through big holes) to protect this with no additional packaging foam or padding the components to protect this near $180 catcher. Seemed like a nice catcher though with good weight and 3 rows of chain. What a bummer!
