MyInvoices & Estimates Deluxe

Ive used this product since it first came out in the late 90s. It doesnt lack for any light weight business invoice creation or tracking. Very inexpensive. Downside is the cheap cost gets zero product support. There is a large database though to help sort problems out.

This product worked well for a little while, but stopped after the version 10 was released. Now it does not work at all. All my invoices are lost until they release a fix or I find a back door into the software.

I used this software for years, when I had computer problems I installed it on a different computer to keep my business running, but avanquest shut the software off on both computers and left me with no access to my invoices or customers. I explained what happened and the only way they offered to help was if I bought upgrade. did not need upgrade, needed my paid for software to run.

Easy to use. Product support is poor, hasnt been updated in many years. But if you just need a cheap invoicing program this has you covered

Simply cant click an invoice and mark it paid. Multiple steps required. One customer, several invoices, you gotta open each invoice individually and type in amount paid. Cumbersome. There are other things I dont like but Im not here to write a novel. I could but Im too busy wasting time on invoices.

The older version back around 2003 is better than this, but the Reports are no longer working probably because of the newer operating systems these days. But, at least it worked with everything else I needed it for and was easy to perform tasks. This new 10th anniversary version has all sorts of problems. Sure, when I go to design my own invoice I can add my logo but when I try to insert my company name, every single time I click outside the box it disappears, and there was no visible way to prevent that from happening so I couldnt even accomplish that task. Another big peeve; they blather about how you can download all these different invoice templates, but when I tried to do that, the error (pictured) is what I received, every single time. So I called their support up, and unbelievable...they wouldnt even help me resolve that issue without paying them a $9.00 fee, even though I just bought the software the day before! Talk about a scam! Oh gee yeah they come out with buggy software so they can charge YOU to fix it??? Thats ridiculous. They may claim that this is the #1 best selling invoice software, but thats because its cheap and doesnt work right. The 18-year old version I have worked better than this piece of junk so I went back to that version and Im sending this worthless software back.

After working a few days getting the invoices to look how I wanted them to. its putting a comma between the state and zip code! That is so wrong.... I was disappointed it doesnt print my envelopes like my previous version did, now this. I cant sent out an invoice that looks like I dont know 3rd grade grammar. :( The part I did like about it was that you could save it as a PDF and my earlier version you could not. So fix the stupid comma issue and I would use this thing!! Could I be overlooking something int he program I could edit to take it out, maybe, but I have spent countless days on editing this to get it how I want it, its insanity I tell you! I paid $40 for mine. They are much cheaper now I see.

We have several companies and found the software just too difficult to set up and use.
