> 24 hourTo all the people complaining that this will not lay flat there is a very simple method to make it lay flat. Simply roll it back up in the opposite direction it came rolled in until the center bit is resting well against the inside of the roll. Then unroll it and it should basically be flat, or flat enough to finish making completely flat. The thickness and dimensions are spot on and this is HEAVY rubber. Perfectly suited for what I bought it for, which is gluing to a thin metal plate to dampen vibrations/noise. There is quite a bit of rubber smell but I can only smell it up close, it doesnt fill the room or anything. I think the smell should go away eventually once it off gasses more. Assuming it doesnt break apart over time I would probably buy this again if I needed more.

> 24 hourUsed this on a ice shanty project that has folding joints. In order to seal out the cold air I used this rubber sheet which worked great with my staple gun. Perfect for this type of project, and very durable.

> 24 hourWe bought this to have our electric company apply it to one of our pine trees that our power lines rub against. Rather than have a perfectly healthy tree be taken down we see this as a solution. We are due to have limbs cleared from around the lines soon & at that point we plan to ask them to install this on the tree then. Overall this is good quality, very thick but flexible enough.

> 24 hourThis rubber worked well , as I cut it into 1 wide strips and used E600 glue to attach the strips to the bottom runners of an antique, metal glider. Clamped rubber in place for 72 hours to allow glue to cure. Was a perfect product to prevent base of glider from rusting.
