Theyre very harsh and scratchy and difficult to squeeze the water out of without actually feeling uncomfortable on your hands. Ive used them on glass dishes, but Im actually not willing to try them on certain pans because Im afraid theyll scratch. I dont plan to return them since Ive already used one, but I wont buy them again.

I got these mainly because they said, Our natural dish sponge can last long without being stinky!. This is not true. They will start to stink just like any other sponge. So purchase them because theyre biodegradable, but expect only that.

Previously, my family had been using a plastic, non-scratch sponge. I had tried a loofa style but didnt find that to work the same and as comfortably as the plastic sponge. This coconut fiber sponge has been a perfect replacement. It does not too abrasive and is non-scratch. It was a little stiff at first but that is also how the other sponges work. It hold soap and water well. It also came packaged without plastic in a recyclable/ compostable cardboard box. I am very happy with this product

I bought a pack of these with some hesitancy, as I want to support green cleaning products, but usually their quality is not as great as the conventional ones. And yet here I am, writing a long review about how great this sponge is. Well let me tell you, this is a green product that blows the conventional sponges out of the water (you know of what brand Im referring to, the green/yellow sponges). These sponges are durable, clean well, and most impressively, havent started smelling that awful mildewy odor that then transfers to the dishes you wash like the conventional ones do. Ive put this product through the wringer, as I hosted a dinner party, braised short ribs, and made duck stock in a span of few days. This sponge has held up and makes me feel great that it will simply biodegrade when Im done with it. Thanks for making this great product!

We received these sponges as a green gift last Christmas and are now giving them to several friends and relatives. The get the job done. They can be cleaned in a washing machine with the cloths and dried in the dryer. Better in every way.

I bought these sponges as an eco-friendly alternative to the name brand blue sponges I’d been using for years. I’ve used maybe… four so far. They are decent sponges but they just don’t compare and I probably wouldn’t order them again. The scrubby side is a bit inferior in getting tough stains out, the sponge side is just okay, and I feel like I use more dish soap to keep the sponge sudsy compared to the sponges I used previously. Also, I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this, but the scratchy side is so rough on my skin! My hands are already dry from the winter and whenever I wash dishes, the fibers on these sponges tear my hands apart. The little fibers also get stuck in little nooks and crannies, so I have to be extra vigilant when rinsing. The sponges are overall more slippery than the ones I used previously; they’re not easy to grip, so if you’re like me and you are developing arthritis in your hands, these might not be the best choice for you. After this pack is done I’m going back to my trusted blue sponges.

These last way longer than I expected based on reviews. We’ve been using one for over a month. No smell at ALL. Such a good value for the large pack— will easily last a year. 5 stars!!

The performance exceeds that of synthetic scrubbers. Non-toxic product with natural materials that can be composted at the end of its lifespan is a plus. Great for cutting micro plastics and supporting a product that makes best use of planets resources.

This sponge gets it done as good as any other sponge I have used and I feel better about it being sustainably sourced. I like the multi-packs on a subscription - just means I have a good, new sponge at hand when I need it.
