Greater than one weekProduct description isnt quite true; the frame is NOT wood. The frame appears to be wood in the photo but is actually heavy cardboard with slick woodgrain vinyl/paper around it. This is a bit expensive to buy the frame and the scratcher insert. I like the product due to the insert being replaceable. Others I have purchased there was no replacement and none manufactured the right size for the frame. At least I will be able to turn over the scratcher part and get more use from the product. And there are replacements that can be purchased, also a bit expensive for 2. The size for each of the scratchers, regular and large need to be clearly stated.

> 3 dayMy cats love this!! In the past, I’ve bought the lighter color, but the mahogany-color is nice, too. Photo is in the low light of my schoolwork-from-home situation. The older bowl has lasted over a year, and I expect the new one will as well. I set this bowl on my desk and my cats spend hours sleeping next to me as I work. Before placing a bowl near my workstation, my cat would get jealous of the attention I paid to my computer and papers. She used to mess up my papers or try to sit on my computer!! Now she miraculously goes straight to her bowl bed and becomes my beautiful desk ornament. So sweet and calm and content :)

> 3 dayLargest concave cat scratcher bed I could find. Pricey for what it is, but our cats love these types of beds and the one we usually get is smaller and looks a little... circus-y... with polka dots and stripes. The size is great and looks much better in our family room. Luckily our cat doesnt scratch the edge so the frame is keeping up. Despite the somewhat misleading pictures, the outside is indeed cardboard wrapped with a faux wood paper veneer.

> 3 dayAll 3 of our buys love this Necoichi xl scratcher! It is lasting forever. I waited several months to write this just to make sure they didn’t play with it for a week and it end up donated. Luckily this product delivered and we are looking to add to our necoichi collection. We are looking at the head-scratcher bowl next!

> 3 dayI have 3 cats who arent really good about sharing something they like, and they love this bowl! They curl up and sleep in it, rub themselves silly in it and of course strengthen their claws in it. I love how happy they are with it, so yes, I highly recommend this.

16-11-2024My cat loves this thing! She used to have a old taco truck that was very big and was coming apart from her shredding it so much, so we decided to class it up. She loves getting in the top part and looking out of her window but sometimes lies in the bottom as well. She really doesn’t scratch it that much, she still uses an old scratcher, so I think we’ll get a long life out of this one. It’s definitely pricey but it’s pretty sturdy and she fits perfectly in the little bowls. I also like the idea that if she does decide to start scratching them I can replace them. This was also the better price that I found as opposed to other stores.

> 3 dayIt’s nice looking even though the outside looks like wood but it’s not. My cats are passionate about their rectangular scratchers but won’t use this. I made a heavy investment by also buying replacement fillers. The joke is on me. I’ve sprayed catnip on it multiple times and they come over to sniff and do a trial scratch but no more than than that. I now have a beautiful piece of sculpture.
