Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)
-
Sheer Fun For Cats
> 3 dayThis is very sturdy, not tippy at all. I like that it’s one piece and easy to clean. I have 3 senior cats, one who had injuries from a car accident (prior to me adopting him) he has neck pain and he seems much more comfortable eating from this. My other two seniors were throwing up their food several times a week, since I’ve been using these bowls they stopped. I have another young cat who was throwing up as well, she has stopped since using these bowls. She tends to be a gulper, so I flatten down her food (she eats canned or raw food) so that seems to slow her down. It’s a perfect height, a little higher than other bowls I’ve purchased, it’s not a deep bowl, so the sides don’t bother their whiskers. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

> 3 dayMy cats love theses bowls! Very worth the price. I’ve noticed their whiskers longer and more healthier! And they’re very cute.

> 3 dayThis is an adorable well-made bowl with a nice rubber protector on the bottom. Who knew cats did not like their whiskers to touch the side of the bowl? My cat likes to drink from it but because of the shallowness of the bowl, water evaporates much too quickly and the water becomes stagnant quick. Its hard to carry it across the room for cleaning or filling due to the shallow bowl.

> 3 dayAn expensive cat food bowl but very cute. I got this raised bowl for an elderly kitty and he seemed to be a lot more comfortable eating at an elevated height. Now all my other kitties prefer the taller dish so I had to buy a couple more. I also purchased the trays for underneath. Yes, it’s expensive for a cat bowl. But if you want something that is cute, lasts forever (if you don’t drop it) and is potentially healthier for your cat (no whisker fatigue or leaning down to eat), look no further.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these wide raised bowls along with the raised water bowl. They were nicely packaged and arrived quickly. No damage or imperfections. I previously had a set of three bowls that were set in a wooden pet bowl holder. Aside from the fact that it had broken, the back of it was too high for me to open my cabinet doors - my fault for initially not measuring. It also had a solid flat bottom and when water would spill, it would collect underneath the wood. These bowls are about 4 inches high and as you can see from the photos, my kitties took to them immediately. These are photos of their first feeding. Our Ragdoll kitty on the left weighs 16 pounds and is six years old. Our Siamese mix on the right weighs 11 pounds, 14 years old and undergoing chemo. The height of the bowls seem to be a good fit for each of them. Their whiskers do not touch the sides of the bowls that I can see, so no whisker fatigue. The wide food bowls easily hold a 3 ounce can of wet food. I imagine they would also easily hold a 5 ounce can. Even though they are somewhat flat, there seems to be no spillover of food onto the floor. The water bowl holds a more than sufficient amount of water for my two cats. The measuring lines inside the water bowl are convenient to keep track of water consumed. All are easy to clean and feel sturdy. I am very pleased with the purchase and would purchase them again. I can also open my cabinet doors without having to move the bowls. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayFirst time buying a bowl that doesnt sit on the floor. My cat had acne on her chin and I read about getting a bowl that sits up higher will curb that from happening. Well this bowl did that well, it didnt stop the problem but definitely improved the problem. Another reason I got this is I read that it might help with her vomiting. That didnt really pan out as she still vomits at anytime and anywhere, lol Anyway it seems like she enjoys sitting down and eating better than stooping low to eat. She seems more comfortable. Also when I go to feed her the bowl is not floor level, its a little easier to reach down and serve her with this bowl. The bowl looks good if that matters to anyone and it is sooooo easy to clean. All and all its an improvement over her last bowl. It looks good, is easy to clean and did help with her chin acne. So all in all I think it was a great purchase. Oh one more thing, the bowl is holding up extremely well. Had it for about two years and still looks like it did when I bought it!

Greater than one weekMy older cat (15) gets soft and hard food since she doesnt drink much water. She wasnt eating all her soft food when I was putting it on a plate for her. Now that she has this cat food bowl, she seldom leaves any behind and is feeling better. My only wish is that there was one available that was non-breakable!! (my granddaughter likes to help!)

> 3 dayMy cat loves this bowl. its aesthetically pleasing and its got rubber on the bottom so it doesn’t slide along the table top. And the bowl is shallow enough that her whiskers don’t get fatigued when she eats. Highly recommend.
