> 3 dayI placed one of these on the head of my linemans pliers that are more than 9/16 inch thick steel. Pulling straight off took about 50 pounds of force. Yes if you put one of these on a painted sheet metal surface it will take less than 5 pounds of force to remove it (i tested this). And if you put it on the side of an appliance, it will take little force to slide it down. I bought 100 of these to hang curtains from the false ceiling in a new house I am renting. They worked perfectly! I am buying another 20 to hang another set of curtains. Of the 100 only 2 had a slight resistance when I started to screw in the hook. Probably what we call a burr in the machining industry. Both hooks went in all the way to the bottom like they should. I left one outside in the rain for a few days. It had no sign of rust. If you need to use a magnet on an appliance or a door there are more expensive (and ugly) ways to hold lots of weight. Keep in mind other magnets may scratch the painted surface. Yes, this has happened to me.

> 3 dayI bought these to hang thin signs on our metal garages walls. They hold well, but I havent tried them on anything over a couple pounds. They remove easily, but do unscrew slightly if handled too much. Overall, Im pleased.

> 3 dayJust got back from a cruise. As many of you reading this know, not much space in your cabins. Well, these magnetic hooks provide you with a way to increase your space. With a shoe bag folded in half, and two hooks, you have convenient pockets on the inside of the bathroom door. You can place your shavers, razors, toothbrushes, hair brush, deodrent, toothpaste, etc on the door. No need for counter space in the bathroom. Additionally, no damage to the door. A win - win for anyone cruising. Also, use them to hang your lanyard near your bed, hang a hat, pair of pants or excursion tickets to the wall. The ways they can be used is only limited by your Imagination.

Greater than one weekI bought these due to other reviews from families that went on cruises. They explained how helpful these were to hang things for easy access during a cruise & boy were they right!! We hung up: our room keys in their lanyards, our sunglasses, ballcaps, swim suits, the daily ship itinerary, tickets for excursions, notes if we were leaving the room & didnt have cell service, my scarf (it was an Alaskan cruise), etc. These were perfect! They held quite a bit of weight... How much? Im not sure to be exact but they sure came in handy & were easy to set up to use & take apart to bring back home. Id highly recommend them for a cruise. We now use them on the fridge to hold our sunglasses.

> 3 daySmall and strong. Using them to hold cooking utensils on refrigerator, organized and handy. The hooks could be open a wee bit more.

13-06-2025These hooks are great for using on the refrigerator! I used them to hang up my masks in order of use so I always know the one at the end is safe to use! Now I know where they all are and can grab a clean one before walking out on my way to the grocery store!
