The magnet is very strong and has good holding power. But the bottom of the magnet is not smooth and has rather sharp, unpolished edge. As it comes in contact with a surface with such a force the surface can be scratched and paint nicked. Unfortunately Ive experienced this a number of times since I started using them. The manufacturer would do customers a service by smoothing the contact surface, polishing and thick plating it. Its not good when a customer has to use a range of sand papers to smooth the surface.

These hooks are great for using on the refrigerator! I used them to hang up my masks in order of use so I always know the one at the end is safe to use! Now I know where they all are and can grab a clean one before walking out on my way to the grocery store!

Most cruise ships have metal (iron) walls. These items work well for adding much needed hanging capability. Also great for Shop, kitchen Refrigerator & Freezer walls, assuming these walls are iron based.

Does not hold 25lbs will hold light items like keys

They slide down the walls in the suite. The walls were metal and I thought that they would hold up bathing suits while they dried but they didn’t

Great value. Just ordered more in a larger size for heavier items. These were amazing for hanging wet suits and hats on our cruise. Kids loved them.
