> 3 dayWe bought these hooks for our last cruise. Cruise cabins are not known for an abundance of closet space. Since the walls are metal, these hooks were easy to put up and we used them to hang jackets and other light items. I didnt find that they would hold 100 pounds, as advertised, but we used them constantly. Very handy.

> 3 dayDid you know that the ceilings of some cruise ship bathrooms are magnetized? We just made it through a week in one of the least comfortable cruise ship bathrooms weve ever been on (one of the smaller, older Oceania ships.) The one saving grace was this magnetized hook, which we hung from the ceiling next to the shower entrance, making it possible to get in the bathrobe easily while still in the shower stall. These were heavy bathrobes, but the 100 lb. capacity of the small hook never wavered.

> 3 dayA nice product but it didn’t do what I needed it to do. I just had a lightweight tarp I wanted to attach to a metal building and you would think with the rating they give it for weight it would be no problem. I think these would be fine for something like a spatula maybe even lightweight tools but it’s not that strong. At least that was my experience with attaching it to the metal siding of a galvanized building.

1. A thicker Steel:
Thin steel means saturation of flux in the magnetic circuit. Excess magnetic flux is wasted in the air and can"t be utilized.
2. Thinner painting/no spacer
