I use this to hold a small calendar on the side of my file cabinet, so I dont need a real strong magnet. I probably should have bought a smaller size. The magnet has a strong pull, so will be good for holding heavier things.

These magnets are very strong and work great for my cruising needs!

The 130 pound is a MUST. Used on cruise ship vacation, holds wet towels and bathing suites perfect to cabin inside metal walls.

These are awesome - way better than I even expected. I have magnetic storage bins in my cube at my desk, but nowhere to really hang my coat or a sweater. I bought these for that purpose, and I was shocked that they held up even to my heaviest winter coat, with the hook hanging vertically from a cabinet above. I use the rest of them to hold bags, keys, and face masks on a metal exterior door, and Im sure theyd be great for holding things inside a locker. Some people say theyre tough to remove, but I find that you can use the hook part to tilt them or slide them and then they remove easily. Its harder to remove them from the parallel position to whatever theyre stuck to.

I bought these to use on a cruise. My original intention was to use them to hang towels and swimsuits. Ended up using them to hold an over the door organizer. I had bought that for the cruise as well but the hooks it came with didn’t work on the door. I had tons of stuff packed into the organizer and the magnets held it the entire time. We had it on the outside of the bathroom door. You can imagine how many times that door was open and shut over 7 nights and the magnets didn’t slide once. We had to slide them to the edge of the door to get them off, they were that strong. Do not hold two at one time in the same hand! To store after, I put a thin piece of cardboard between them.

This hooks are well designed for heavy loads. The neodymium magnets are of good quality and can take around 10-15 lbs. of force to even remove.

Its a magnet hook in the end and there are a lot of factors that will influence its overall performance. I did not really expect it to hold 100 lbs as advertised in my real world applications(substrate composition, paint, etc.). So try and use what you know about magnets and physics to make an educated assesment and temper your expectations, my point being-you would need a considerable sized base magnet to really hold a 100 lbs. That being said, this product performed exceptional and was able to hold what I needed it to hold. I was able to reproduce failure at 6 lbs on my refrigerator but on my all metal cabinets it held up to 25 lbs. So my ratings are based on what the product does for me and my expectations and not on what the advertisement claims were.
