Greater than one weekThis Needler looks amazing and sits in my collection of weapons from movies, Shows and Games perfectly. You can barely even tell its a Nerf gun. Question though: I received 5 in game code cards but only 1 of them has a code? Im not sure if I was supposed to get 8 or just the 1? If anyone can tell me what they got.

> 3 dayThis unit is a really nice piece for any Halo fan. There are touch sensors that allow the unit to light up when your fingers are on the handle/trigger. Theyve got fine details down, for example, when firing the nerf bullets, as you run low, the needles LED lights diminish, just like in the game. It comes with a display stand. It takes 6 AA batteries, which do not come with the unit. This was definitely biased towards right-handed folks; the Nerf brand logo and product warning lettering are facing the left side, so it remains hidden from view when held on right side. The unit has 3 modes, display mode and ON and OFF. Display mode is allows the unit to be on for 2 hours with touch sensors triggering the LED lights. Overall, very impressed with the Nerf brand for pulling this one off.

> 3 dayNear perfect for a display item, can’t speak to its use as a nerf toy but it looks great in display mode on my shelf!

> 3 dayThe quality of this blaster is outstanding and the packaging is just as impressive. The stand it comes with is a bit lackluster compared to the blaster but overall well worth the asking price. Theres an added dlc bonus that gives the nerf needler nameplate. If you have an older kid or adult in your life that loves Halo this will no doubt be the highlight of thier Holiday haul.

Greater than one weekIf there were two cornerstones of my life growing up, it was Nerf blasters and Halo. One of my longtime childhood fantasies was a Nerf Needler. Of all the crazy sci-fi weapons we wished we could have as a foam firing toys, the infamous bringer of pink mist was my pick. Ultimately it never happened during that time (BOOM Cos Needler was fun, but definitely didnt nail the looks), and eventually I grew out of the hobby scene in general. Yet, when I found out Hasbro was going to make a game-accurate, functioning replica of the Needler, I was chomping at the bit to get it. I think they knocked it out of the park. The blaster itself looks fantastic. Its almost identical in appearance to the Needler from Halo: Reach through Infinite. Almost all of the fine details are visible. The blaster itself is weighty and feels very sturdy. Whats nice is that all the protruding elements of the gun, like the fins on the bottom and the needles themselves are made of a flexible material so they wont break if you bump into them or drop the blaster. The lighting effects are also great looking. The LEDs are bright and the blaster has a neat feature of sequentially turning off the needles as you fire off darts, mimicking the games behavior. You reload the needles by flipping open and shut the cylinder door on the left side of the blaster. It also shoots surprisingly well, better than Id expect for a blaster that seemingly values looks over performance. Its a fully automatic electric plunger with a 10-dart cylinder, similar to the old Dart Tag Speedswarm. This was a pleasant surprise considering most new Nerf blasters have totally ditched this type of firing mechanism for flywheels. Im not going to bother range testing it, but it fires hard and darts fly out to ranges that Id expect of most new Elite type blasters. It isnt the most consistent or accurate though, but thats to be expected of a blaster firing Elite darts out of barrels this short. Heavier darts and Id say you can stay on target pretty well with this thing. I do have some minor gripes though. Even though the colors are dead on, I wish they gave the gun a more metallic sheen like it has in game. Its also an ergonomic nightmare. The grip is horrid and its a pain to reload thanks to the giant muzzle that covers most of the cylinder. That said, its worth noting that this blaster basically eschews all practically in favor of being as accurate to the game model as realistically possible. Its not something youre going to want to play a round of HvZ with (or whatever people play these days). Its also a bit expensive, but I guess if you really want this thing then the price shouldnt be too big of an issue. Overall Im really happy with this Needler. Its definitely a childhood dream come true and Im glad its as good as it is.

> 3 dayFinally the needler shipped and delivered. In game content seems to be a name plate, featuring the nerf needler. On to the unit itself, well made seems detailed. Doesn’t feel cheap. The bottom has a battery door for 6xAA batteries. Display mode is very cool, has a touch sensor under the trigger that when touched lights up everything, and turns off two hours later. Display stand is fine, maybe a little flimsy but does the job. Looks great on my shelf and is a must have for any halo fan.

> 3 dayOk, first off, I’m excited this came a month earlier than expected! The product itself is very cool. It’s huge, feels like how big a life-size needled would probably be. It’s pretty light, but not excessively so. The fixed needles on top and firing chamber light up. The fixed needles turn off as you shoot, but not one by one as you may expect. They turn off more like, in sections. Still a neat effect and it makes it obvious that you’ve emptied your revolver. The gun shoots kinda slowly, obviously nowhere near a real Needler’s speed (although, you’d be out of bullets in 2 seconds if it was realistic). And, it’s kinda loud when it’s shooting, as it’s motorized. Definitely not a stealthy weapon lol! But it does shoot pretty powerfully, but not dangerously unless you’re getting hit in the eye. The Display Mode is cool, too. The fixed needles pulse while in Display Mode. Idk how long the 6 AAs (that you have to provide yourself; they are not included) will allow it to sit in Display Mode before they die. I don’t plan on keeping it on while on display for very long durations of time. But yeah, overall I’m very happy with it!! Would be cool if it came with extra bullets, but oh well. It holds 10 and that’s all it comes with. Very pleased with the purchase!

Greater than one weekWe’ve purchased so many nerf-guns over the years. This one takes the cake. I like how it lights up, haven’t seen anything like it before. Comes with a nice stand too.
