> 3 dayPurchased in hurry after seeing model I have in description only to read after receiving that it was not for 1200. I scheduled a return before actually trying. Could not stop wondering why battery pack fit physically fit but claimed to not work so I charged and tried despite claim to not work and insert takes 6 x 1.5 volt C batteries which = 9 volts and pack says 7.2 volts. It works so good that it is now my sons favorite gun! Love the product but disappointed in Nerf for advertising that it wont work in 1200 gun.

> 3 dayif you have a battery op rival gun then this is worth it, it cost basically the same as getting the d batteries and most of the guns will kill the batteries after a few days of use so youll save a lot of money no picking up all those d batteries

> 3 dayIf you have the Nerf Rival Khaos, this is an essential counterpart for the blaster. Regular users of the Rival Khaos should notice that their blasters performance slowly begins to decrease after a while. This is because constant use easily wears out the prescribed D volt batteries. This predicament forces users of this blaster to change batteris every month or so. You do not want that. 6 D batteries cost around 17.00 $, so after a year, youve payed more than triple the amount of the already expensive but amazing Rival Khaos. Fret not! There is an alternative! Behold, the Nerf Rival Khaos Rechargeable Battery Pack, a.k.a. a very smart choice. If you buy this, you will save so much money on batteries for your Khaos blaster. And thats not all! This battery pack also makes your Nerf Rival Khaos astonishingly lighter than with standard D Batteries. So yes, you should buy this, but only if you want to save hundreds of dollars and lower the weight of a very heavy blaster. (Update)-This battery pack is also compatible with the new Rival Nemesis

Greater than one weekI cannot vouch for the actual item quality until Christmas purchased for my son ,however I can inform you that the box came severely damaged to the point I had to open and check the battery pack for damage, there was no visible damage to the contents so fingers crossed that it doesnt disappoint on Christmas

Greater than one weeka must have for the Rival Khaos and the soon to be released Rival Nemesis. This pack will not only give you a performance boost over standard alkalines but will also do the following. Lighten the weight of the blaster, save you money over buying 6 D batteries all the time. It wil be compatible with the upcoming 100 round hopper feed Rival Nemesis so have no fear with that if you are buying this for your Khaos now and plan to get the Nemesis as well.

> 3 dayThis thing powers the nerf gun to the lecture level. The rate of fire must have doubled and the velocity is significantly different than off the shelf batteries.

> 3 dayThis battery is NiMH, which is a slight disappointment considering LiPo and LiFe batteries are common these days. NiMH is still decent technology and if you take care of it should last quite a while. It is 7.2 volts and intended to replace the 6 D batteries in your Nerf blaster. NiMH cells are 1.2 volts per cell and Alkaline batteries are 1.5 volts per cell, so by using this instead of Ds youre actually losing 1.8 volts. They could have made a 7 cell NiMH battery which would have been 8.4 volts... but they didnt. Compared to the D batteries, I really didnt notice a difference in rate of fire, accuracy or distance. D batteries are ridiculously expensive and heavy, so this is an upgrade in every sense... less weight, less expense long term. No regrets on this purchase, but Im pulling one star for Nerf using old technology and not having the forethought to add another cell to more accurately replicate the voltage of the original battery configuration. Keep in mind, 4 stars is great... a 3 cell LiPo or some more modern setup would be fantastic. TLDR version: Get it!

Paying Customer
> 3 dayThis should be a 5 star review, but the almost $50 price point is crazy for what you actually get. I bought one of these about 4 years ago for $15,a very reasonable price for NiMh rechargeable batteries that are only around 7.2 capacity. They drop in nicely to the blasters and are easy to recharge (little wall charger provided). FYI - For less than $50 you can buy the mod kit and go with 3s LiPo, then make your blaster scream with performance at around 11 capacity (way stronger than 7.2). Visit out of darts for mod kits and mod videos. Option 2 is to go with a nerf rival that comes with a charger, the Perses comes with over a 9 capacity LiPo battery and has very good performance. You can also buy a hopper and have over 150 balls in it. Over paying for a NiMh battery with low performance is crazy. The $15 I paid a couple years back is reasonable for this, not the $50.

> 3 dayFor those who want a bit more power out of their Khaos, without going through the process of modding it to take a LiPo, this battery is definitely worth checking out. From my own testing: Rev up time was reduced by 3/4 of a second. +13 fps gained And +2 balls per second for a total of 5 balls per second, compared to 3 with stock batteries. Not only are these benefits nice, but the battery also reduces the weight by nearly 3 lbs. The price may be a bit high, but if you Nerf often and like to rev your blasters a bunch, this will cut down the price of D batteries, and get rid of some of that waste. Very cool product, and its 100% Nerf official!
