Its not really shaped like a seat, theres no resting place for babys cheeks. Its basically just a plastic rim. She seemed terribly uncomfortable & got dark red pressure marks from sitting on it. In the early stages were supposed to sit then on the potty & wait there if we see any elimination cues, but I couldnt stomach forcing her to sit on this thing longer than a minute. Disappointed

The Baby Potty Mini is the perfect size for elimination communication with a small baby, and I wish I had ordered it first! I started ECing my baby at 6 weeks on a top hat potty, but I found it to be unstable and difficult to catch pees in for a baby boy, so I ordered the IKEA Lilla potty instead, which I’ve been using with him for the past 2 months. However, it is too big to bring with us in a diaper bag or under the stroller, so I decided to order The Baby Potty Mini. This is perfect for my 3 month old. I can sit him on it comfortably while offering some support, and it’s small enough that I can take it with us when we go out. Just what I was looking for! For size comparison, I have the IKEA Lilla Potty (left) next to the Tiny Undies Baby Potty Mini (middle) and the Tiny Undies Top Hat Potty (right). Update: My son is 4 months now. Between adding the Baby Potty, which is much more comfortable for him to sit on the the larger Lilla, and adding “transition times” (e.g. after wake up from naps, after returning from walks or trips, etc.) to our EC routine, I’m now getting many more catches!

This baby potty is the perfect size for babies. I’m calling it the Squatty Potty for babies, it aligns them in the perfect pooping position. I bought this to hope to eventually try elimination communication. My 9-month old, who usually poops multiple times a day, didn’t poop for a week. I tried every modality you could imagine, she was straining and so red-faced with a “shy” poop I could see that would go back up with every attempt. I was just about to try a glycerin suppository but then thought to set her on the Baby Potty the next time she strained and out came two turds with ease. I did it again the next time and another one came. This will likely be our transition into Elimination Communication, but even if you’re not sure, this is the perfect potty to alleviate constipation! As a pediatric RD and mom, I will be recommending this to everyone! Thank you

perfect for countertop pottying! we began using this when our daughter was 2 months old. We use the bathroom counter so we can all have “mirror time” together. Perfect size for little ones!!

Love this! I wish it had a padded seat cover though (not the cozy, rather something like a toilet seat reducer!) My 2 month old uses it already (with assistance of course!)

Cute but too lightweight and too small. Grandchildren tip it over and it is just too small for our 2 year old grandchildren.

LOVE the mini potty We had tried several potty’s with my toddler and all were rejected. This one was used the first try. I think it’s the size. It’s so small toddlers can easily get on and off by themselves. My one complaint is it needs rubber on the bottom so it doesn’t move around when little ones try to use it. I put it on a rug but toddlers don’t always leave things where you put them.

I love using this potty. It fits my baby very well. My baby is a little small for his age, but he was able to use it at 5 months when he could sit up on his own. He is very secure and comfortable on the potty. The potty is very easy to clean since it is just one piece. I would definitely recommend this potty for small babies and EC users.
