Digo que es un poco caro, porque ésto de la fotografía siempre ha sido carísimo. Pero teniendo en cuenta la calidad que ofrece, es más que suficiente para trabajos profesionales. Perfecto para retrato. Un bokeh muy agradable.

Its a great prime lens with expected great compatibility with the mirrorless Nikon body. The bokeh is beautiful. The lens is large and a bit heavy for a prime, but highly recommend if you are looking for top quality at 85mm

Like any professional wedding and family photographer, Ive got war stories of my gear taking some serious damage. After damaging my old Nikkor 85mm f/1.4g lens beyond repair at a wedding, I was presented with a dilemma: repurchase that same lens, or buy the new Z-Series 85 f/1.8 S lens.

This is an amazing lens. Moved to Z mount a year ago, bought 85mm S lens; was so happy with it, bought this lens. Extremely happy with the lens, love the portraits from this, very sharp, bokeh is beautiful.

Yes, this is rather expensive for an 85/1.8, but:

I work as a Television news stringer at night This thing is terrible when holding the shutter down half way to autofocus in low light . It hunts and has real trouble getting focus . I havent used it in a well lit environment so I cant say what the focus would be like there . This is well built, unlike a sony lens. It is weather sealed, and doesnt feel like a toy. Would I recommend it yes .

Ive been a Nikon shooter for many years. Love my Z7 and much more with this 85mm prime. Its a magical lens, incredibly sharp, fast, and will be another go to alongside my 50mm prime.
