These are excellent quality casters. The metal is nice and thick, and the bearings run very smoothly. The locks on the wheels work smoothly and provide very good braking. I am using the casters on a simple wooden platform for moving bulky items around my shop. They are working very well for even heavy loads like engine blocks. Great product!

These caster will be used for a Moble Terrarium. The wheels are a medium softness rubber, I don’t think I would recommend them for a rough floor, but for in the home they’re ideal. The mounting plate has six holes available, with corner holes elongated. The casters have no smell to them (some have a strong odor at first), and the break engages securely and firmly. I’m unable to turn the wheels by hand with the brake engaged. I recommend them, and will look for them again.

These are a great fit and fix for our tool box. We put these castors on our tool box and it worked out great. Now I am able to roll my tools around the garage and work on whatever I need to without running back and forth. The brakes work just fine also. They are some heavy duty castors and will last a very long time. We are planning on getting more because there is so many different uses for them.

This is a set of 4 swiveling, locking casters. The rubber is non-marring and the lock is a simple toe press. They are quite heavy duty and will hold a lot of weight.

These are top notch heavy duty casters. They came fitted nicely into a cardboard box with room to rattle around. I can tell by the weight these arent the typical cheap casters from the big box stores. They are definitely heavy duty. All four have breaks, and I like how the brake works. Ready to put them on a small portable TIG welding table. These should handle it no problem.

I ordered these for a really heavy toolbox that Ive had for quite a while. After years of abuse, the wheels simply stopped rolling and it became such a hassle. These were a great replacement. They were easy to install and Ive had no problems with the brakes to keep it from rolling. The wheels allow me to move it from one spot to another in any direction and it is so easy. My garage floor is relatively smooth, but there are come cracks and crevices that it rolls over easily. The construction of the wheels seems durable and should last for many years. With my son being a mechanic, this has been a lifesaver. I am happy with these and plan to order additional wheels for other projects around my house I have been putting off. Great design and durability.

I was impressed with the quality of the wheels and bearings in this set for the price. They spin exceptionally smoothly. The rubber of the wheels is comparable to more expensive casters. The build and durability appear to be appropriate to the size of the wheels, so I expect they will hold up for the long term. The brakes are effective if applied fully and truly stop all wheel rotation. Its important to note that the brake on the swivel casters only immobilizes the wheel rotation, and NOT the rotation of the swivel. I didnt expect that based on the description, and didnt need that, but depending on your usage, that might be an important consideration. I used these to make a furniture dolly. Its not common to get screws with this type of caster when bought individually in big box stores, but its worth noting that these likewise come without mounting screws.

When I first opened the box containing these casters, I inspected them closely looking for defects. I’ve used too many crappy casters over the years - don’t waste my time. These casters looked to be of good, solid construction - bomber casters. I decided to mount them onto my workbench. I rolled the workbench out onto my garage floor to test the functionality of the casters and I swear I heard the casters say to the workbench: You Ready? Suddenly, I had a Dance Partner. When I wanted to twirl the workbench, ishe twirled effortlessly. When I wanted to go side to side or back and forth, and when she braked - she held. She was braked. I decided to load 250 pounds on the workbench. Let’s see her dance now. She still moved smoothly and effortlessly - just a little slower. And her brakes held. I had also added leveling adjustors because my garage floor is totally uneven in spots. In the picture where one can see a hex wrench in one of the levels - it’s because that caster is off the floor, not touching the floor, while the other three casters are solidly on the floor. 5 - Stars for these casters.
