When I first ordered this case I thought it was hard plastic, but its actually more of a gel material. I feel like the soft gel is better for absorbing impacts. This is a nice case that offers a decent level of protection without making the unit too bulky. My son also likes the fact that the case is clear so he can still see the color of his Switch.

Wonderful product, It gives your lite alittle weight and feels good in your hands, I love it. The white edges also look amazing. It has been a delight to play with this case on. Hori never disappoints. I will be honest though the price is really high, this product is $16.99 we shouldnt be spending $30+ for it. Even Walmart sells it cheaper than Amazon. If you want to save some money buy this product later on. If $30+ is no biggie go for it, Its a great case. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up you can buy this cheaper look around before you get it here. I realized too late. One more thing I recieved it in 4 days. So delivery will be quick. Enjoy everyone.

Great case for protection and to display any console art. Tricky to put on. But looks sleek.

Fits like a glove, button holes all match up, and feels good in my hands.

Perfect clear case! Not too bulky!

It definitely takes some wrangling to get the Switch in and out of the case -- I play with a dock sometimes and need to remove the case in order to use it -- and if youre like me youll end up leaving the case off more often than not for conveniences sake. Otherwise, the case does what its supposed to and is fairly easy to clean. The extra bulk makes it easier to hold, which I like (the texture is also kind of grippy).
