The coronavirus shortage is incredible. I searched everywhere for 2 months and didnt want to pay the markup from third party sellers who were going for $500. I finally was able to order from amazon for $299.99 but on a 8 weeks delay. I placed the order and to my surprise it came in less than 2 weeks. Now on the console itself i give it 5 stars even though i wish it had more built in memory. My kid loves it. Its portable, so you can take it anywhere. The online gaming ecosystem though is build to milk you like a cow so one less star for that. Like most/all games are exclusive and very expensive.

Is the Nintendo box suppose to have a seal on it? This didnt. everything seems like its new, but lack of a seal kinda sketched me out.

Funny enough my husband claims he bought this for us. That reminds me of the bowling ball my dad bought my mother in the 80s...lets be honest it was for him - not her. And that goes for a Switch, this is for him, not us. Nonetheless, he really likes it and I like it because it is something he can play next to me without forcing me to endure hours of vdo games playing in the background. So win win. It is packable, fun to play, and easy to use. Kind of the perfect system for old and young folk.

We got lucky and only paid $299.99 for this Switch. If I were you, I would hold out until you can find one for MSRP. Dont pay these ridiculous inflated prices. It came new in the box, never used, and came with everything needed. Power adapter, dock, HDMI cable, joy-con grips, and the wrist straps. Switch had half a charge upon arrival, and set up just fine. Joy-cons work great. Reads and plays a cartridge game. Im excited to play this more! It has very nice feeling controls, incredible graphics (compared to the Wii that I was used to), and the console is very small and compact. Dont hesitate to pick this up. But before you do, DONT pay $400 or over for it. Thats ridiculous.

I got this for my 11-year-old daughter for Christmas and she LOVES it. Turns out my 5-year-old and husband enjoy playing on it as well! Its not a nice size screen and its really cool that you can play it on the go or hook it up and play on the TV. You do need to make a Nintendo account, though, if you dont already have one in order to play on it, but overall set up was easy and didnt take too long. While the system was expensive it was definitely worth the investment! I do suggest getting a case to keep it in to keep it safe when not in use, though.

Item was in perfect condition when arrived. Shipped faster then expected. Four stars do to no manual, rather easy set up even without documents. I feel I was one of the last buyers at below three hundred dollars. This is the updated unit with extended battery life. No visuable damage at all. Unit runs perfectly, shipping box arrived undamaged, everything package neatly. Unit appeared to be brand new. Just decided to give this five stars, I honestly have no issues with item or seller. Would buy again from seller.

Ive been wanting a switch for a long time, and finally managed to get my hands on one close to MSRP (at $307) during the pandemic. I only have one game on it so far, but to say Im pleased and impressed so far is a bit of an understatement. Its nice to be able to play on my TV in the living room, and when someone else wants to play their own game or watch Netflix, I can just take the switch out of the dock and play in handheld mode, but stay in the same room and socialize. I like being able to bring the game into my room and not be forced to play it in the living room if I dont want to deal with all the noise. Its pleasant to hold, with just a bit of weight to it to feel sturdy. The Joycons are nice to the touch, although the sticks are a little too smooth for my liking so I put some grips on. I havent experienced any drift, yet, but its only been a few days. Theyre very satisfying to hold, and even more satisfying to click into place on either the tablet or the included joy-con grip. I havent tried the straps yet. The screen is lovely, and the speakers are front-facing so it seems louder than other handhelds. It IS a little frustrating to adjust the volume while I have it on the kickstand. The kickstand is a pain to pull out, and isnt sturdy in the slightest. Overall Im very, very happy with it. I cant wait to get more games on it and play with friends.
