> 24 hourThis is a much nicer UV filter than the one Ive been using from the starter kit I had. The fit and finish is well done. It threads easily into my Canon 24mm lens with no binding, and the deep knurling on the rim makes it easy to remove. If you are just starting out and want a UV filter, skip the ones in the cheap starter kits and get this one instead. Overall, this is a great quality filter at a budget price.

> 24 hourQuality seems to be very good and optics are very good without introducing any blur or noticeable degradation of image quality.

> 24 hourIch benutze den UV Filter auf einer 85mm Samyang Linse, als Schutz für das Frontelement. Rein Haptisch macht der NiSi Filter einen sehr guten Eindruck.

> 24 hourHochwertig verpackt, wie es sich für einen Filter dieser Preisklasse gehört, in einer vernünftigen Kunststoffbox.

> 24 hourWhile even perfectly clear filters will lower the light your lens gets by a small fraction of an exposure stop, its not enough that you shouldnt protect your lenses with something like a UV filter.

> 24 hourGood budget filter that I am not placing high expectations on. I use this with Canon 77mm L-lenses using a 82mm step up adapter. Nothing noticeable that I can nitpick about when compared to all of my Hoya filters. Not the lowest profile but no issues with vignetting or anything of that sort. Great value that does the job without the price tag.

> 24 hourI got this for a 1960s Minolta Hi-Matic 7s, and it fits perfectly. This is a well made filter - I actually had a few seconds when I first opened the packaging where I honestly couldnt see the glass, and thought I had been shipped a plain filter ring! I mainly use these to protect the lenses on rangefinders, so cant speak to how well it filters UV light, but am impressed with the quality of what I got. Recommended.

> 24 hourYou cant tell that its there, picture quality-wise, which is what UV filters are meant to be and a sign of good quality. Optically I cannot really complain much and the build quality is excellent as well. The filter ring itself is less uniformly shaped but has more designated textured parts, which are a bit more aggressive than a full-contour textured ring but also does a great job at being easy to grasp and twist. Depending on your lens hood it might feel a little more snug but did not get in the way of use.
