Works well with my Sony ZV-1s wide angle addon attachment from NEEWER. The 62mm is a perfect fit and the metal quality is excellent.

I am not a big user of protective filters, as they do more damage to your image than good. But this was a sample, so I decided to try it out.

You cannot go wrong with a NISI lens filter. The filter came out of the box clean and ready to use. No dust or film to be removed before first use. It comes with a microfiber cloth for cleaning.

I’ve been very happy with this NiSi filter. I’ve been using it on a Sigma 105mm lens and it’s doing its job by keeping the front element protected without any reduction in image quality. Reflections don’t seem to be an issue either.

I have always been a Hoya filter user. After getting this NiSi UV filter I just may be jumping ship. This seems to be a very high quality filter. Super thin; thinner than my other UV filters. The machining on the aluminum rim is top notch. I put this on my Canon EF 17-40mm USM lens and it fit great. There is no vignetting even at 17mm. This filter is guaranteed to provide no vignetting on wide angle lens down to 14mm. The glass looks to be very high quality. Obviously I can not attest to the hardness of the glass. Hopefully I never get to verify the protection quality of this filter. Lets just assume it will do the job a UV filter is supposed to do; protect the lens glass. Next I will need to try one of the NiSi polarizer filters. If you are in the market for a new UV filter this one should be at the top of your list. Oh and it even comes with a cleaning cloth.

Good budget filter that I am not placing high expectations on. I use this with Canon 77mm L-lenses using a 82mm step up adapter. Nothing noticeable that I can nitpick about when compared to all of my Hoya filters. Not the lowest profile but no issues with vignetting or anything of that sort. Great value that does the job without the price tag.

I have several NiSi ND filters plus their true colour CPL. NiSi is quality.... I have used others and I find their construction and glass is second to none! I will use a UV when at the dog park and down around the seashore as I dont want stuff on the front elements of my NIKON lenses. You cant go wrong! Plus a nice knurled grip so the are super easy to remove and install...

UV filters have lost a great deal of their benefit since the time of film, but thats not to say that they dont still have their uses.
