Nite Ize Original Steelie Magnetic Phone Socket - Additional Magnet for Steelie Phone Mounting Systems

We had previously been using the nite ize FreeMount brackets for our iPhones in the car, but they honestly just would wear out over time. (The inner gears only had so many cycles in them before they would just give out) I eventually was just fed up with buying replacements for them, so when I saw this solution as an alternative on Amazon, I was game to try it. Boy am I glad I took the leap! This is so much easier and there is nothing to break anymore. I will say that on my iPhone 12 mini it has been hard to find a placement for the metal plate that I am consistently able to wirelessly charge my phone still. However, for me that isn’t a big deal because 95% of the time I used my cable anyway. My husband has the larger iPhone X and I was able to find a placement location where he has no problems being able to still wirelessly charge. So be aware if you have a smaller form factor phone and wireless charging is a must for you, this might not be the solution for you. However, if you have one of the larger phones you shouldn’t encounter any issues. All in all, me and my husband genuinely love this mount solution and have converted all of our vehicle mounts to it. It even holds steady when off roading, which none of our previous car mounts have been able to do.

I owned one of the first magnet phone mounts and off all the ones Ive sampled and researched this and the other Nite Ize products are truly the best. Highly recommend!
