My hamster, (Mr. Pumpkin Pumpernickel) has always been given so much bedding but he’s never shown any signs of burrowing in the months of me buying him from the pet store and I figured he just didn’t know what to do with it. I saw online some hamsters like to takeover other animals homes and make it their own and I thought this product would be perfect to imitate that scenario. And it really does! He immediately jumped down in there and started digging more around the bottom. And it looks really nice up against the glass it’s nice to see him enjoying what I’m spending all my money on. So yes 100% worth the money your paying, watching him is so entertaining!

I have a dwarf hamster and I feel like this didn’t work out for him. It was difficult to climb up.

This item took forever to arrive, but it was really good quality, and sturdy. Our hamster seems to like it. It was a lot larger than I expected... I was worried it would only be suitable for dwarf hamsters, but it was perfect for our large Siberian.

I purchased this as a replacement for the plastic hide I originally purchased from the local pet store. I like that its a 2 in 1- chew toy for the hamster and a hide. Fast shipping, was packaged nicely and overall Im impressed with the price and how solid it is. I have a syrian and it doesnt seem to potentially topple over when she climbs on top of it- and has a wide enough opening for the hamster as well. My biggest complaint is that the smaller mushroom in the print isnt even fully purple. But its not enough of a bother where I would try to send it back for a replacement. Also- please note that since this is a wood hut if it gets wet it will have wet spots left on it. Would recommend replacing with a new one every 3-4 months for this reason.

The ramp is a good size for syrians, extremely sturdy, and fits nicely against Niteangels 3 chamber L-shaped hide.

This is built well and is great, unfortunately the way I need to have my tank set up this would only worked if I could get it facing the other direction (top opening facing the right side of my cage while the large viewing windows face the front. I still highly recommend this for anyone who’s tank set up will work.
