I would like it a bit better if it came with some sort of finish or sealant on the side? Or if there was an option for it to come pre-sealed Anyone have any good hamster-safe wood sealant? I like the natural idea for some people i guess though. Or even if you guys sold a sealant that specificly went with the product so i wouldnt have to think so hard about whats hamster safe. But to be fair, i knew what i was buying. I didnt think it would be this huge of an issue though. Because its unfinished, its really hard to clean without introducing more moisture to the wood. My buddy just has decided to pee only in one of the chambers which obviously gets gross quick (dark, wet, warm. YUCK!). Very sturdy though! Awesome little maze hideout. Im sure if barnaby had thumbs, theyd be up. Sometimes the lid is finicky but nothing a little force doesnt fix, lol. Seems as thick as it needs to be! Very solid.

Once again Niteangel delivers a very very nice product. The quality of the wood and it’s construction is top-notch. This isn’t cheap wood slapped together, the attention to detail can be seen in the symmetry and edges which for me is important lol. Highly recommend this product and the brand. This is perfect for my Russian Dwarf and medium Short-Haired Syrian…will be buying the large 6-room next for my bigger hamster.

I have a Syrian Hamster and she absolutely LOVES this thing. I got her this to hide in during the day to get away from the light so she can sleep better. She loves the multiple compartments, she has made a sleeping room and another room to store food in and another room she just stuffs bedding in for no apparent reason. the holes leading to the different rooms are big enough for her and it has enough space for her to arrange the bedding how she wants. It is wood so depending how dirty it got would be a little questionable but my hamster keeps it really clean.

We purchased this larger house/maze for our hamster. He is happy to have the larger sized compartments. He keeps his food in one, snacks in another, and loves to burrow and get cozy in the largest one. The other spaces serve him as a pass thru. It came nicely packed. The wood is nice and smooth. They also include a small piece of sandpaper in case you want to smooth out any areas. I thought that was very mindful but did not need to use because the wood is truly smooth already. I would recommend this product to anyone.

my syrian hamster loves this! He very large for a syrian but still fits in the opening. This is a perfect hideout to assemble due to the top easily coming off. Will definitely order from NiteAngel again

My hamster uses one room as a bedroom, one as a bathroom, and stores her food in the last. She loves it.
