Greater than one weekI bought this for my rats and there is a very strong chemical smell. I washed it and it still smells exactly the same!!! Definitely not using this for my rats because I dont want to risk them getting sick. Its a shame cause it would be great for them if it didnt have the smell.

> 3 dayVery soft, straps feel like they are sturdy, hardware clips dont feel cheap. Smaller than I was expecting as I dont see two ferrets or one CHONK ferret fitting, but my Phoebe is a loner and immediately took to trying to climb in while I was only halfway done hanging it.

> 3 dayThis hammock is fine, I have two ferrets they fit just fine and loved it. About 3 days ago over night they decided to lay on the interior and scratch at the roof of the hammock. That’s fine okay whatever it happens, but it’s FILLED with something along the lines of styrofoam. I wanted to warn everyone because I came out to styrofoam bits everywhere (again fine it went around whatever) but I’ve been carefully watching them since we all know that if they were to have ate some at all it could be deadly. Keep an eye on the roof of the hammock, i don’t know if mine did it over night our had been working at it for awhile. I’ve had other hammocks they’re either just fabric or canvas etc. yes they can eat or wreck anything i know this, but this is the only one I’ve found filled with styrofoam. Just be careful, I would hate for someone to lose their fur baby over this.
