Niteangel Wood House with Window, Chinchilla and Guinea Pigs Hut Hideout

Concept is ok, Guinea pigs like it but I would not buy this for any animal that poops and pees as much as a Guinea pig. The wood gets saturated around the edge in a few days and leads to wet and smelly wood. This won’t last long. I’ve put tape around the bottom to see if this helps but I would not buy anything that is not wood protected with some animal friendly sealant or is plastic. Not worth $25.

These wooden houses are loved by my two girls. They are the perfect size for a guinea pig. Mine like to run through the windows and do zoomies in and out. They do chew the window bottoms, which is loud, but they arent enticed to chew constantly. You can see the chew marks on one of the photos. They fit perfectly side by side in the Midwest pen, but mine seem to like the corner setup better. They flipped one over and peed on it, but it was super easy to clean up. Great piggy houses!

Nails come out of wood and hurt my chin’s paw

I ordered two of these houses because I wanted something a little nicer than the standard pigloos for my two female guinea pigs. I was originally hesitant to purchase because they are a bit pricy- but they are worth it! Very sturdy, solid quality houses. Before these houses, my girls were constantly flipping their pigloos upside down. Now, I dont have to worry about that anymore. Though, the pigs do love chewing on the wood- it can be noisy! They are beautiful houses. They have one door in the front, and then a window on either side. So happy with my purchase that I also got my girls a matching hay rack from Niteangel - also very pleased with this purchase. All in all, very happy!

My chinchilla loves this hut!

My chinchilla destroyed her woven grass house so I needed to get something *almost* indestructible. She loved this house as soon as I put it in her cage. Feels very sturdy, and overall great quality. Very satisfied with this purchase!

I give 4 stars only cause it came chipped. My chinchilla loves it though. He sleeps in it all the time and uses it as a safe place for him to hide when I clean his cage. It fits perfectly in his cage and it’s big enough for him to fit in and still have some space.

It does have nails, though, so be careful. My chinchilla only nibbles it a bit, but I would be concerned if she were going to town chewing it up.
