Noctua NF-A14 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Brown)

I have to say, although spendy, Noctua fans are fantastic (pardon the bad pun). They are extremely quiet and move lots of air. They even have a great heft and feel as well looking well made. As much as I hate to spend the money, Im replacing any fan on my computers that fails with one of these. (I have over a dozen computers many of which have six or more fans.)

Bought it thinking the fan is an intake fan, my mistake for not reading and looking at the direction of the airflow. Ordered a couple of Noctua NF-P14s to put in the front and this one will be an outtake fan at the top of the case. Other than that, it is very quiet, especially with the low noise adapter that comes in the box. Highly recommended!

These fans have top notch performance. I used two in the past for a push/pull setup on a small AIO and they went with it when a friend of mine inherited the build. Now I have two more as intake fans for my new air cooler build.

Awesome fans. A little pricey, but have learned by lesson on cheap fans where the bearings give out after a few months. Been using several of these fans after nearly a year with no problems, smooth sailing!

This fan is ultra quite, However, like others have said it comes with a very short cord approximately 6-10 inches. The good thing is that it also comes with some extensions and splitters. You will definitely need them.

Others have caught up so there still isnt a better combination of tonal noise and cfm. There are other 140s that can match the airflow and the db, but look up videos and read the reviews, those other fans all have compromises like motor noises or weird characteristics at certain rpms. I now have 3 Noctua fans in my case and temperatures at virtually all readouts have decreased by 13 decrees celsius compared to with the stock fans (stock was 120mm rear, 2 120 intake, now have 2 of these intake, and an 120 exhaust). What I will say is that despite all Ive written there you should keep your expectations realistic. These fans move a lot of air, and though the fans themselves are silent, you will still have the sound of air being moved. At every rpm the fan itself is silent, all I can hear is air, but its not silent. Dont expect high performance without some tradeoffs, and this is really it, aside from the price. The accessories are a nice bonus, I was able to use some of the parts on my wifes PC so dont throw those away, you never know when they will come in handy. Completely recommend these fans.

Top notch fan.

With noctua you cannot go wrong. These are the classic noctua color for some this may be a draw back but I have grown to appreciate and love the style. They look great in a cold cathode blue lit case, can hardly tell they are brown in color.
