Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (60mm, Brown)

Cooling is good, but not as quiet as Id like.

I have run Noctua fans for over a decade in countless computers I have fix and built. However, this is the first time I have used them in an automotive application. Im using these in a custom enclosure to cool my communication equipment. They are controlled by relay when the equipment turns on. I will try to remember to update this review in the future. Im curious to see how they will do in the summer heat inside a vehicle.

Works as advertised. I replaced a noisy fan with one of these and used the 2400 rpm adapter and it is totally silent now.

These are very high quality fans and great for vibration or noise-sensitive applications. The only issue is they dont move as much air as I would have expected at the rated 3000 RPMs. If you have these in an open environment, you absolutely need to use them with a baffle so that they dont interfere with themselves in order to get any noticeable pressure out of them. They will work best in a small closed space that needs air flow.

Noctua always knocks it out of the park and this is no exception. Loaded with extra goodies like rubber pads on the corners, silent rubber mounting screws, and multiple wiring adapters. Ive always enjoyed Noctuas build quality.

I bought this fan to replace the cooling fan on a power supply (for my amateur radios) that was hideously loud. The replacement went off relatively without a hitch (be careful when you verify power ... you can get bit. DAMHIK). The power supply is now running almost silently. Im very pleased with this fan (my second, first is in a computer I put together, also running quietly).

Freaking silent!!!

So the fan in my treadmill sounded like a Blackhawk landing....Horrible whine. Pulled it and replaced with this. Cant even tell it is running. Super quiet! Amazing
