> 3 dayIve replaced all the fans on my makergear m2 3d printer with the Noctua fans (two on the extruder and one in the power supply). The printer is soooo much quieter now. Easy upgrade, inexpensive and rewarding in that I dont have to listen to the shrill scream of the cheap fans that came with it.

> 3 dayReplaced noisy factory fan in my Ender 5 Pro. Sure, I had to do a bit of metal work, add the proper connector, and reduce the 24 volt supply to 12 volts but it was worth the effort. Some metal work was required also as this fan is 25mm thick which is twice as thick as the factory fan. I mounted it on the outside of the power supply case and cut out the bottom printer metal cover to fit around the fan. Rais the printer by about 3/4 inch using some vibration pads and that was it. Nice and Quiet.

> 3 dayFabulous. Finally, a fan not made to be as cheap as possible. Not all of us are making 100,000 of everything and want it for 50 cents!

> 3 dayInstalled this fan in my ReadyNAS Duo. The fan that came with it was extremely loud and unpleasant to listen to, this fan is as close to silent as I can imagine. Easy install, lots of accessories and little extras. You could do worse than Noctua fans, but Im not sure you can do better.

> 3 dayAh, the almost impossible task of finding a liveable 60mm fan. Some are server grade and sound like it, while others like this one provide a good compromise between heat dissipation and db levels.

17-11-2024Like other reviews mentioned, this is very quiet. And being an overpriced brand name, will hopefully last well. But it doesnt move a lot of air, and my biggest objection is they didnt include screws. I had to go to the hardware store and of course they didnt have any #4 screws long enough... They include the wide screws you might use to mount it to a case, but I was replacing a CPU fan atop a heat sink. The previous one was only 10mm, and had screws, but this one is 25mm thick (which was fine cause I have the room for it) and did not include 30mm screws. Had a BUNCH of other adaptors, etc, that I didnt need, but not screws that were long enough to go through the fan.

> 3 dayI have run Noctua fans for over a decade in countless computers I have fix and built. However, this is the first time I have used them in an automotive application. Im using these in a custom enclosure to cool my communication equipment. They are controlled by relay when the equipment turns on. I will try to remember to update this review in the future. Im curious to see how they will do in the summer heat inside a vehicle.
