> 3 dayFor the money one of the best fans I have installed. Very quiet. Only complaint I have is I needed longer screws as this was not a replacement but a additional fan. They give you adapter, and extension cables as well as a molex Power adapter cable.

> 3 dayNoctua makes some of the best fans on the market. Extremely versatile and customizable and always quiet for the amount of air they move.

05-06-2025Swapped these into my servers rear exhaust fans. They push a tremendous amount of air compared to the originals and are almost silent. I didn’t install the resistors to cut fan rpm down as they were not needed for any reason. Packaging was excellent and included any accessory I could have needed which needs to be considered when people talk about the price. I’ve got loads of parts on my bench that came with Noctua fans that I dip into all the time. There is no substitute when you want something that’s gonna work far past it’s warranty date.

> 3 dayDead quiet fan. FYI - this is now made in China but the quality seems to be there. Lots of options for where it gets power from. Mine is direct from the power supply Molex connector but cables are provided for other options.

> 3 dayLove these guys, super quiet, ended up not being fast enough those for most 80mm application. Usually when I come across a 80mm its ether got to force air through a whole case (like in a server a NAS setting) or its used in the basement of a case (big area of empty space) this works better for the later because it will evacuate the hot air to a point, but its not going to do much to cool any components in there, more just like maintain the status quo. Thats to be expect though with a 80mm 2500 rpm fan. I will say it is so damn quiet at 2500 rpms. I use them in my gaming case to keep the harddrives from getting too hot. But its not fast enough for my nas build to cool off 8 drives. For that you need something that can force more air like 4000-5000rpm.

> 3 dayA quiet high-quality fan. You wont need to use the supplied noise (and speed) reduction cables unless you are looking for near silence in your system.

> 3 daySuper fan, lots of air flowing and very nice quiet hum. The Noctua fans come with an amazing array of power attachments to connect it, and control the fan speed. Also comes with silicone mounts and screws so you have your choice of mounting. Corner pads also make the mounting solid and quiet as they absorb vibration. Top of the line fan! I dont even look at specifications of fans anymore. I just look for the Noctua fan which is the size I want and then get it. Other fans may look better on paper, but you cant beat the Noctua engineering for a good balance of design, construction, longevity (6 year warranty), and durability. And lets face it - theyre not THAT much more expensive. Youll easily forget the price difference in the long run.
