> 3 dayI used this fan to replace the stock fan in my Icom IC-7300, which was quite loud during transmit. The Noctura fan is essentially silent. I cant hear it at all. If youre looking for a quiet fan, look no more, this is the one.

> 3 dayOf three fans that I compared, this was the noisiest and least efficient (more current and less air) than the other two. It did come with several cables and mounting accessories that I didnt use.

Greater than one weekThe fan itself is somewhat quieter than the previous fan (front case fan), but it changes speed erratically, resembling a car motor sound. No apparent change in case temperature. The anti-vibration silicon feet that the fan sits on dont snap into the holes (the instructions dont give any indication), so the fan is kind of suspended mid-case. I hope it doesnt fall off and break itself.

> 3 dayQuiet and powerful. The rubber attachment things are cool but hard to use in tight spaces. Even with the screws, the fan does not vibrate because of the rubber around the screw holes. I really like Noctua fans

> 3 dayIm using 2 of these fans in my front to pull cool air into the case and they are doing an excellent job keeping the airflow moving and the internal components (especially my GFX) cool. So far Im a new but HUGE fan of Noctua and believe they are the only company Ill be using for future cooling purchases. All of the recent fans (cpu cooler, 120mm, and 80mm) have been through Noctua for the efficiency of airflow and low noise they provided (none are using the provided low noise adapters as I havent seen the need to use them).

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
