> 3 dayMy Dell G5 desktop absolutely sounded like a vacuum sweeper with only one exhaust fan that constantly ran full blast except for when it was shut down. I installed two 80mm Noctua exhaust fans and two intake fans with the included low noise adapter cable and now its so much quieter.

> 3 dayI do a lot of audio and video recording in my office and have noticed a computer hum in some recordings. After doing some research I found out about these fans which as supposed to reduce noise. I pulled my computer apart to find out what I needed and ordered the replacement fans. They came in two days and I installed them. They looked good and fit perfectly, but I have been disappointed with the results. The noise isnt any better than it was with the original factory fans. I went through all that work for no change. So Im going to have to pursue a different and more drastic sound dampening approach. I wouldnt waste your time with these so called silent fans!

> 3 dayThis is a really nice fan, super quiet. The price for this fan is a little bit more than most but a really good value for such quality.

> 3 dayHave this in an older Antec case Thats has space for 1 120mm fan and 1 80mm fan. The stuck 80mm was very loud and had some funky LEDs. Replaced it with one of these and added a second to the 5.25 inch bays. Super quiet and moves a good amount of air. Little bit pricy but not too bad

> 3 dayThis is the quietest fan Ive ever used - dead silent, in fact; however, the reason its so quiet is that it doesnt spin. When the computer starts, the fan spins for less than a second then does nothing, no matter how warm the computer gets. Ive tried several other fans on the same MB header, all work. The other fans are noisier than Id like, which is why I ordered this one. If, however, the tradeoff for a quieter computer is overheating, Ill endure the noise.

Greater than one weekIll keep it short: my computers stock fan was so loud, it was making the whole pc tower vibrate and caused a massive amount of noise. I can still remember the vibrations from my legs and arms making contact with the desk. I finally got tired of it and ordered this fan. It took about a minute to install and turn it on and that was that. No more noise. Its like its not even on. If I hadnt seen the blades spinning, Id think I got a dud. It also keeps the PCs temperatures far lower than the stock fan. All I can say is that Ill never go back to regular fans. Its that good.

> 3 dayQuiet and powerful. The rubber attachment things are cool but hard to use in tight spaces. Even with the screws, the fan does not vibrate because of the rubber around the screw holes. I really like Noctua fans

> 3 dayFit perfectly in an older Dell 790 SFF. Less noisy than the stock fan. Seems to be keeping things cool. Had to use with a Pocaton 5Pin Female to 4Pin Male Socket Connector Jack PWM Cooling Fan Power Cable Compatible with DELL PC in order to connect to the motherboard.
