23-11-2024These are easily the best 80mm fans you can buy. I bought a couple of them to cool a 750Ti which I removed the stock fans and fan shroud. They are literally silent. They are impossible to hear if they are turned down using the motherboard. I even replaced my standard light bulbs in my room with LED ones because my computer was so silent I could hear them humming and that was starting to drive me crazy... but Im pretty OCD about things like this.

> 3 dayI used this fan to replace the stock fan in my Icom IC-7300, which was quite loud during transmit. The Noctura fan is essentially silent. I cant hear it at all. If youre looking for a quiet fan, look no more, this is the one.

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
