> 3 dayAll I can say is Wow! Im totally blown away by these fans. Im ashamed to say that I have been building computers for about 25 years, and I never paid extra to get a better fan, always just using what came with the CPU heatsink, case, or those all-in-one water cooling units (Corsair / Thermaltake). I just replaced the Thermaltake fans on my radiator and case, and pulled out my video card (using the built in Intel trash for testing) to hear the fans by themselves. At first I couldnt hear them at all. I had to turn off another nearby computer so I could actually here these. I tested it again by running Prime95 for just over an hour on an older i7-2600K overclocked to 4.2Ghz. The temps never got above 65C but the fans did get a little louder, yet not as loud as my other fans (at idle!). When I turned off Prime95, the temps returned to 40C which is my typical idle temp and the fans got really quite almost immediately after the load was removed. I have my motherboard set to control the speed of the fans using PWM. My PSU already has a very quiet PWM controlled fan in it. This computer is so quiet now. Im going to buy more of these in the future.

Greater than one weekFirst off, dont make the same mistake I did and buy fan splitters with these! Each comes packaged with an extension cable and two splitters of various lengths. Amazingly enough, the splitters bundled with the fans were significantly higher quality than the ones I purchased aftermarket.
