Works as described, PWM controls are great for making your own fan curve. I use this as an intake on my front panel. Silent effective operation at a solid price for Noctua reliability and quality.

Ordered a new fan, got a used one. The screw mounting holes were stripped out. Fan works OK but had to improvise mounting in the case.

Reduced noise level by 10db as indicated by the NZXT sensor on silent mode when not playing games. The NZXT H710i case fans produced 60db on silent mode, but now I get 50db.

Ive been running two of these 140s as intake fans for almost 4 years now and they have held up well. Just as quiet as the day I installed them.

based on Noctuas previous design these are recolored and work great as CPU and GPU controlled case fans. I have them on splitters between the CPU and GPU fan controls and they only ramp up as needed. They have good static pressure to get through restrictive intakes. Powerful and quiet. Not as quiet as their A14s counterparts but does the job. They dont come with all of the extra accessories that their brown and beige colored counterparts do but you dont pay for them either. I got these as open box items.

Absolutely excellent product. Amazing performance, packed with just about anything you need to install in your system. Quality is outstanding, silent!

Pwm (4 pin) is great because you get to control the fan speed. At max speed (1200 rpms) they are a little noisy but not loud and are moving a lot of air. I feel that this is a good max without being excessive although I could see this max being slightly underwhelming. In which case you could opt for higher rpm limits.

Before installing these fans, I had some Cooler Master Jetflo 140s scavenged from an AIO Liquid Cooler. They were effective enough, but god they were so loud. I feared for my ears as I thought tinnitus was inevitable. I had heard of the mythic prowess Noctua boasted, but I had never experienced it for myself. But now; I have stepped into the divine, silent jetstream that is Noctua. Now my PC is so quiet the only real evidence that it is powered on is that I have fallen victim to the RGB craze.

Great fan, very quiet. It makes an excellent case fan.
