> 3 dayIm rarely surprised by the quality of PC components like case fans, but these Noctua 80mm jobbers are simply outstanding. Build quality is through the roof and, far and away, the best I have ever laid my grubby hands on. They feel good in the hand, have noticeably more heft and literally ooze quality at every opportunity. The plastic feels denser and more rigid, the fan blades are better made and better shaped, tolerances are tighter and, heck, they even jacketed (not cheaply either, but a nice braided cover) the 3-wire pigtail all the way from the enclosure to the connector. Never before have I seen such attention to detail or this type of commitment to quality construction. Simply a fantastic unit and definitely worth the price. I would gladly pay double the going rate to get my hands on more of these, and this is coming from someone who just bought three of them (replaced both exhaust fans and squirreled away the third as a spare).

> 3 dayUsed this fan as a quieter alternative to the Panasonic OEM on my HP oscilloscope. Seems to work fine, though the Noctuas Chinese plastic is noticeably thinner than the Panasonic Japanese made original.

> 3 dayA low speed, low noise fan for for applications where its the ONLY fan. If your application has other fans creating a vacuum (i.e. a computer case), this fans static pressure just wont overcome it and you will have air entering past it.

Greater than one weekLove Noctua fans. I already have 8 in my PC and I am going to use this one to help cool some Raspberry Pis.

> 3 dayI am using this as an intake fan on an old SFF desktop. This fan moves a serious amount of air! I had expected it to be silent as I understand that many Noctua products are. This fan is not silent, but it is easily one of the quietest computer fans I have ever heard. For the amount of air it brings into the system, I am not going to complain about a little noise.

> 3 dayDidnt pay attention and bought a 3pin when I needed a 2pin. Cut it and spliced it to a 2pin connector so now its constantly running at max RPM.

> 3 dayYou can tell by how much air is being moved that these are Noctua fans. As Noctua fans go, they are slightly louder than normal, but for a server rig that is out of sight out of mind. These are just fine.

Greater than one weekNeeded a new fan for my 80mm modded OG Xbox. The cheapo 2500RPM Rosewill LED fan I used to begin with is very loud, and is molex only so cant utilize the Xboxs auto fan control.
