> 3 dayIf youre buying this to replace the fans in the Behringer NX6000D or similar amp then make sure you get the 1800 and not the 1200 version. The 1200 wont even spin at the voltage the amp provides. With the 1800 version the fans spin but are not audible. If youre using the amp outside in the summer heat I wouldnt do this mod, but its likely fine for home theater.

> 3 dayNice construction. It is not whisper quiet as I had hoped but not too bad!

20-11-2024this fan moves air! but at a slightly louder dB than i was hoping. i used this inside a mixer linear power supply - so depending where you put it could affect noise level. i will note- there is minimal noise- if any, it is just the air movement sound. i ended up using a buck converter to step it down to 7.6 volts and it was considerably quieter with adequate cooling still for my usage.

20-11-2024Quiet little 80 mm fan. It replaced another case exhaust fan called the Tornado (by Vantec). For some reason, I had been enticed by the sheer power of the Vantec fan, but the noise was really starting to bother me. This little Noctua fan is nice and quiet, and it draws a sufficient amount of hot air from my case to handle the heat produced by overclocking. I kept the same overclock settings after installing this fan. I like the new gray color of Noctuas Redux line.

> 3 daygood fan that moves a fair amount of air for the price however is quite loud. I have to turn mine off when im not gaming otherwise i can hear it through my headphones so cannot recommend as a quiet fan.

> 3 dayI am using this as an intake fan on an old SFF desktop. This fan moves a serious amount of air! I had expected it to be silent as I understand that many Noctua products are. This fan is not silent, but it is easily one of the quietest computer fans I have ever heard. For the amount of air it brings into the system, I am not going to complain about a little noise.

> 3 dayDidnt pay attention and bought a 3pin when I needed a 2pin. Cut it and spliced it to a 2pin connector so now its constantly running at max RPM.

> 3 dayLove Noctua fans. I already have 8 in my PC and I am going to use this one to help cool some Raspberry Pis.
