> 3 dayNot the prettiest of fans but I’ve a closed case with no windows so I only care about performance and they don’t get any better when it comes to noise (lack of) and air flow performance. These are optimised for airflow so be careful if you need something more pressure optimised, i.e. for a rad or heatsink

> 3 dayJe suis un fidèle de Noctua et je suis jamais déçu. L’emballage est soigné et le produit de qualité. Les raccordements en plus dans la boîte pour le prix sont vraiment le bien venu. Le système de fixation silencieux avec une petite pince est facile dinstallation et très pratique. Le ventilateur ne fait aucun bruit. Sur ma Hero VIII, le produit est fidèle au commande de tour par minute quon lui demande.

Greater than one weekLo compré para sustituir un ventilador pocho que me costó 4€ hará 5 años que había empezado a hacer mucho ruido. Hace el mismo ruido que el cualquier otro ventilador, no merece para nada el precio. No lo devuelvo porque me da una pereza tremenda desmontarlo, pero vamos, que si os hace falta un ventilador, con uno de 4€ de marca reconocida vas sobrado.
The NF-S12A marks the third generation of Noctua’s signature S12 series quiet case fans, which have received more than 250 awards and recommendations from the international press. Featuring a further refined blade design with Anti-Stall Knobs that works in tandem with the new AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame, the NF-S12A improves the airflow/noise efficiency of its renowned predecessor by up to 8%. The PWM version sports Noctua’s custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 1200 to 900rpm. Its superb running smoothness, SSO2 bearing and Noctua’s trusted premium quality make it an elite choice for quiet case cooling

Noctua"s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames feature integrated anti-vibration pads as well as Noctua"s proprietary Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures, both of which further refine the fan"s performance/noise efficiency.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
