10-06-2025Ive ordered three Noctua NF-S12A PWM fans from the Noctua store, and the seller is clearly Noctua and not one of the marketplace stores. The first fan is OK. But the next two fans are used. There are screw marks inside of the screw holes and the screws are outside of the sealed plastic and are scattered all over the package. I dont know how much they used the fans before sending them to me.

> 3 dayThis is the quietest and smoothest running fan Ive ever (Not) heard!!! I used two to ventilate a cabinet containing my living room NAS and they are completely undetectable to my ear at both the low and high speeds.

> 3 dayNice and quiet on old Chillblast I5 machine easy to fit into existing holes with the new screws provided. Replaced stock case cooling fan which had become very noisy .Didnt use damper mounts as accessibility issues in case but quiet even though screwed in place. PWM 4 pins just slotted into Chan 1 fan slot on motherboard. (Asus P8Z77-V) Rebooted machine and it was detected and started up. Now Running at 750 rpm on 900 rpm low noise adapter cable provided.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
