> 3 dayFirst thing about the dh-15, its huge. Make sure you pay attention to the dimensions. I have the original brown one in my nzxt 510 case. I bought the black one as a replacement because it looks better. Its the best cpu cooler you can buy. Noctua is a great brand. This cooler has amazing reviews on youtube. Even against water-cooling it does amazing.

> 3 dayHad an issue with installation screws didn’t want to thread, checked all of the specs on this thing and I had trouble fitting the cooler. It’s a beautiful cooler don’t get me wrong, but for $100 I don’t feel I should get temp spikes near 80c on a stick 3900x. That’s just my opinion and if you’re looking for a cooler that gives very similar performance at $60 go with the Sythe Fuma 2 I haven’t had a single issue or temp spike since.

> 3 dayWorks as expected. Keep in mind of RAM clearance if you are installing both fans (recommended) as the fans can get in the way of tall heatsinks. Very easy to install and comes with various mounting systems for intel or amd chips.

> 3 dayI bought this for a 5700x am4 build last holiday season. This is my first noctua and first of what Id consider high end coolers. Its huge and its a tank. Id guess you need a full tower for this, maybe an usually wide midtower might work out. Installation was easier than I expected, the instructions were clear both am4 and latest supported gen install options. As far as cooling goes, I think its doing a great job.

> 3 dayMost difficult cooler Ive had to install yet, felt like I was going to break something and was frustrating getting it to lock into place. it is somewhat noisy. A 20-25$ difference for a black coat of paint is definitely not justified. But the performance is definitely one of the best and keeps my 3900x in the low 30s on idle and never passes 60 under load at 4.8 ghz.
